Nice experience
Although the tee boxes need some work, the greens were good and the fairways in pretty good shape
Course is in terrible shape
For being an extremely mild winter, the course is in very rough shape. Course maintenance is difficult to work into the schedule, but for a course with 3 nine hole courses, it is completely unacceptable to be aerating the roughs on holes that is currently in the daily rotation....the fairways and greens were lacking grass which makes play very difficult. Staff was very nice but course directions are lacking....we played 9-18 and 19-27, when coming off 18, there was no directions on how to get to hole 19, which turned out to be .25 miles down the road from the club house; simple directions go along way to improve the experience. Course is pretty open and as a residential course is lined with houses on most holes. Some challenging holes however very little difference between the gold and blue tee boxes.
Tee Boxes
The course was in good March shape, but the
T-boxes could use a lot of TLC.
Management is not good
Great for the money! But, did not like the way GolfNow puts players into a foursome and not letting golfers know! They don't inform them that they put you into a spot like this. You are put with other golfers that you don't even know! Makes for an uncomfortable experience!
Greens in good shape
Played the second and third nine-hole layouts on Thursday, Feb 16. It is a good course for practice on a pretty day. The greens seemed to have been top-dressed and rolled within the last month. Good speed and most putts rolled true. There are still a few areas on the greens with invasive grasses that caused bumpy rolls. These few small spots of weeds should be killed now. Some greens have enough contour to be interesting if pins are placed near slope.
Some maintenance digging and raking had been performed on the sand traps and they were mostly OK after some rain earlier in the week. There are several green-side traps that obviously hold ponds of water after rain. Major work needs to be done to redo drainage of these troublesome traps.
We played from forward, black tee boxes. The teeing areas and the fairways need more grass and less bare sand. In February, it is forgivable that fairways are not lush, but the tee areas could be re-seeded or re-sodded.
The tee to green layout of most par 4s did not have great variety nor are they memorable. The par 3 designs are better.
first time walking course
Walked all 18, first time ever. Had a blast. greens and FW in great condition, staff and marshal were very kind and helpful.
Fun fun
As the marshal/starter stated this course is an old souls course. The lay out is great if you have control of your ball. Not knowing the layout got me on a couple holes. Drove it through the sharp doglegs and my score paid for it. Overall a fun course a couple fairways were washed by the resent rains but can't wait to play again to improve on that score.
Nicely Maintain Course
Nice course greens tougher than they look. Can be very challenging. While I was there course received a new fleet of carrs this shoild help to enchance the golfing experience.
Great value, great condition!
I play here several times a year with my 11 yr old son. Great pace and not crowded. About 10 mins north of the woodlands. Fairways and greens in good shape.
much improved over last time played. new management doing a good job, primarily with the greens
Village Course in excellent condition
I play the Village course a few times each year. The course is in excellent condition and the greens are very challenging.
Sunny Sunday
Enjoyed a fast round, almost no one on the course. Greens in great shape.

I don't understand the complaint. I've been playing for 45 years. Many many times I have gone out as a single and gotten paired up with others. In those 45 years I have had 1 player that I didn't care to play with again. Some of my best friends I met this way.
I would rather have people paired up than have a bunch of twosomes mixed with foursomes, where the twosomes are pushing the foursomes all day.
No reason playing with someone new needs to be "awkward"? I would embrace it... you never know who you're going to meet.
