Logan River Golf Course
About
Logan River Golf Course is two things -- gorgeous and dangerous. The gorgeous half consists of the wild settings and solitude that comprise each hole. The dangerous half lurks in the marshes and thick grasses which boarder the fairways. Bring extra balls.
The Logan River flows through the golf course and fishermen are often found on it's shores. The course construction creates the illusion that the tees, fairways and greens have risen up from the floor of the riverside wetlands and ponds.
Water and waste areas come into play everywhere. Several of the holes require first and second shots over hazards. One par 5 even has an island fairway.
But, the same terrain that brings fear to the golfer is the same scenery which makes this course one of the best. Even though the Utah Golf Authority has never played a resort plantation course in the swamps of the South, we can't imagine that they'd be much prettier or challenging than Logan River.

Great time. Course in great shape and staff very friendly
Challenging
I’m an 8 handicap and played tips. Wasn’t driving it great and found it challenging. Some tricky holes and some good layouts. Greens were excellent except for many unrepaired ball marks. Greenside traps were hard packed sand and nearly impossible to get out of. Still managed to shoot 84, a bit above my handicap. I’d like to try it again now that I’ve seen the course
Tricky Targety
Beautiful track- gorgeous surroundings!
Course in super shape.
Lots of no driver holes!
Amazing grounds keeping
The folks taking care of Logan River should all be given a raise, every time I go there I say the same thing, beautiful! This course is always in tip top shape and that is one of the reasons I love it so much, it is also challenging, you will lose balls if you don’t keep it in the fairway, lots of trees, water, marsh land, etc. I live over an hours drive from the course, it’s worth the drive.
