The Golf Center at Kings Island - Grizzly Course

About
The Grizzly Course is a collaboration between Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead. Since opening in 1972, this challenging layout has been host to numerous PGA, LPGA, and Senior PGA events. The golf course features long, curvy fairways lined with towering trees and there are strategically placed bunkers throughout. The three final holes feature water hazards, which are also accompanied by a difficult array of bunkers. It offers a fair amount of difficult holes but overall the course is playable for a range of skill levels, which is why it is an appealing layout for tournaments. In addition to the two courses, the Golf Center also boasts an 11,000-square foot putting green and an Academy Course with four championship holes.
Also known as The City of Mason Golf Center - Grizzly Course.

Cold day, good golf
the course is always in good shape and the staff is very friendly. One of my favorites.
Winter golf
I really enjoy playing the Grizzly. Today was tougher than normal as the weather was cold and super windy. Playing December 23 so the greens were not cut and the course hadn’t been maintained. Very well. But, this is expected this time of the year. Otherwise, great fun
Windy day
It was a windy day. This course offers a few challenges without the wind. The trees are mature and force accurate placement on some holes. the rough is long and has many leaves to hide an errant shot. Mason resident save $5 per round.
grizzly
great course great conditions but took 5 hours to play because of a slow 4 some in front

aeration
They aerated the greens and fairways 4 days before.
Great course layout
Always love this course . Playing conditions are perfect . Pace of play good .
Friendly staff, course in very good condition. Pace of play move at a good rate. Rough is not heavy, well cut.
Always have liked this course but staff was having a very grumpy day.
Always have liked this course, but staff was having a very grumpy day. On my arrival about 11:45am for a 12:10pm tee time I was greeted ok but then told under no circumstances was I to tee off before my scheduled tee time. I'm not sure what brought on this gruffness but I thought it to be rather rude. So I proceeded to the cart barn where after telling the cart guy my tee time was told to take that cart there. Again rather rude. I went to the practice green putted and went to the 1st tee about 12:00 where the 12:10 group was already teeing off. When I mentioned to the starter that I was told not to tee off before my scheduled time he said yeah those guys in there can be as******! I agreed and went on to have a very pleasant round until we caught up with some slow players, after that the round dragged on.
