Fun at Catamount!
I had a wonderful time at Catamount. It's a bit off the beaten path, but that lends to the country, laid-back feeling. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The driving range was covered (with mats, not grass). Beautiful views of peaceful countryside. Water hazards on 3 of the holes encouraged an approach strategy. Several of the fairways were wide and forgiving. Don't expect the green to be an easy putt! I stayed out of the bunkers but they are strategically placed and not easily visible to the visitor like me with no local knowledge of the course. Fun! I'll be back when I visit Vermont again.

They posted tee times to a golf course that’s not even open!!!
Perfect Day
Had paid in full online ,starter would not accept Golf Now paid receipt. Had to fit us in on Busy Sunday ,delayed 30 minutes . Pace of play 2.5 hours normal 2.0 . Course over all in great shape . Would be nice to get a burger and beer on ninth but nothing open and plenty of picnic tables free. Golf Now refunded after a brief Chat session .

Do NOT BOOK THEY WILL NOT HONOR. I went to the pro shop to tell them we were there and as soon as I said my time for the reservation they got extremely hostile and said they are not taking online reservations and it is only 9 holes. They then said they can get us in 20 minutes and that it would be the same price but for 9 holes instead of the 18. This is textbook bait and switch as we traveled 30 mins to golf and at that point in the day we didn't want to call around to get a tee time.
Fun, 9 hole coure with suprisingly good conditions
This was my first playing Catamount Golf Club. It is a short, nine hole course. I played the course prior to catching a flight back to Atlanta.
The course was very straight forward with very few places to get in trouble. The conditions were surprisingly good. The greens were in excellent condition. They were smooth with very few non-repaired ball marks. The fairways were average, but nothing to complain about.
My only complaint was that when I checked in I was not given a score card. There were no score cards on the carts nor was there a box near the first or second tee boxes to get a score card. Several of the par 3 tee boxes were pretty torn up, but nothing too bad.
Not the greatest course, but very fun and easy to shoot a good round, especially prior to going to the airport to catch a flight heading back home.
You are supposed to play the 9-hole twice to get 18
