About
The Legends of Massillon offers 27 holes of championship golf. The holes are divided into three nines: East, North, and South; which can be played in different 18-hole combinations. Originally opened in 1995 as an 18-hole golf course, another nine was added with each of the three nines featuring six of the original holes and three new ones. The East/North combination has large greens and plenty of water. Water is a prominent feature on every nine, it comes into play on 22 out of the 27 holes and you'll also have more than 80 strategically placed bunkers throughout to contend with. There are four sets of tees on every nine, making it accessible for a wide range of skill levels. The Legends consistently ranks as one of the top public golf courses in Ohio.

Consistently a great time
I’ve always known about the legends and played there a few times but now that I’m golfing more and being from Massillon, I can go all the time, and the more I’ve gone the more I realized how beautiful the course is. Friendly staff as well.

Great staff
The course is in great shape and well manicured. The staff is absolutely wonderful especially Harry and Pete. They are always friendly and helpful and make you happy to be playing there.

A bargain for how nice the course is
This is a $50+ course for 18 holes. Great layout and very well maintained. Mostly open course but still have to place the ball on shots. Also a decent amount of water hazards. Great deal

Solid course
Nice course, well kept. As other reviews have said, the bunkers were kind of junk but most courses are this time of year around here. The price was more than fair for what the course was, would definitely return

Great Layout
Great layout with plenty of hazards (water and sand traps)...First time playing here, only complaint is that the greens haven't grown back in all the way after being punched so they weren't rolled, and the bunkers were dead....
I will definitely play again in the summer, and I'm sure the course will be in a lot better shape...
Unfortunately I didnt find out about this course until late in the year (1hr 10mins drive)...but gladly donated about 8 balls to the hazards today...lol
