Exclusivity breeds perfect conditions
If you don't know about River Bend that's not surprising. This unassuming club is tucked back in Great Falls and if you don't know the club is there you'd drive past both entrances.
A full-fledged club has basically every CC amenity you'd want (pools, tennis courts, huge club house with ballrooms, etc.). It also boasts a very large all grass driving range and practice area. Unfortunately it's not very close to the 1st tee. But don't worry there's another practice putting green near there too.
By far the best thing about the course is the conditioning. A multi-million dollar maintenance budget allows the Super to ensure there isn't a blade of grass out of place. No weeds. No strains of grass that aren't supposed to be there. Anywhere. I'd dare you to find a piece of grass out of place.
The course itself is also very nice and makes good use of the land it occupies. Highly walkable and more enjoyable without any houses on the property makes you feel like you're playing in a golf oasis. Greens are pure and notoriously quick.
