Fading Beauty
This course is struggling to return to its glory from years ago. The property and clubhouse are aging , despite some clubhouse renovations. The course is in ok condition, with a lot of overgrown trees needlessly narrowing the already confined course.
3 1/2 hours of pure joy
I walked on and got a cart for 18 holes on a Tuesday afternoon for $62. Trevor at the front desk takes good care of you. Ample parking near club house. A challenging course of beauty at every turn, I saw two magic reindeer on the 14th fairway who apologized for eating my ball and gave a free drop!
Slow
I’ve played this course many times. It’s an average course but it’s an average price so that is expected. Usually the pace of play is ok to good. Today however was ridiculously slow. There was a foursome in front of us and no one in front of them. They spent excessive time talking shots and even e time looking for lost balls. There should be a Marshall on the course keeping the pace of play up.
Reliable Good Course
We were slowed a little when we caught up with a group of kids having lessons. They let us pass. Back nine fairway needed cutting. I'll play there again.
Great conditions. Significantly better than last year
Night and day compared to the quality last year. Fairways and greens are very well maintained. Greens are a little slow but they’re at least consistent.
Good course, tee boxes need love
When it’s windy out this course can be a beast, and it was windy when I played. Third time there overall. The course has great fairways, pretty, can be forgiving. Rough can get tall enough to lose a ball right in front of you. Woods are killers. The greens are really tricky with lots of hidden sloping if you’re not familiar with the course, definitely a strong challenge for an average weekend player. Great staff, very welcoming, no skill level refused and a wide cross section of players were around but pace of play was good. Will play again but hopefully next time without the breeze.
Busy, but great pace
I’ve seen this course in far worse shape in previous years. It looks great right now. They’re doing a good job.
Better but still sub par
The course is in better shape than last year - how could it not be - right?
Fairways a in pretty good shape.
Greens mostly in good shape.
Tee boxes and dirt traps are still rough.
I wanted to see how the changes were coming along and clearly they have a long way to go to justify their prices, slow play, and no bev cart on a Saturday
