The 14th - a nice short par 3 with a tricky green. Photo submitted by GolferJake78 on 03/01/2019

The 17th - probably my favorite hole on the course. Photo submitted by GolferJake78 on 03/01/2019
Excellent Municipal
This course is a solid challenge. The course cannot be better. Tee boxes were redone and the greens roll well. Price point is decent. A must play.
Solid course for hacks like us
The course was in great shape. Greens were good, pace of play right at a 4-hour round. The grounds crew seemed to be out longer than normal, well into the mid morning hours, but all in all a great value.
Great course, nice greens
I’m great shape this spring. The greens are fantastic
Herndon Municipal City Course
Course was in good shape. Greens were a bit slow but it was damp all day. Good variety of holes and tee boxes. Will definitely be back
Great Muni for the price
Keep in mind it’s a mini course. All the fairways were good and the rough was challenging. The greens could use work but good for the pricepoint
I had to pay for the cart extra which was $21 dollars
Nice Challenging Course!
Definitely a course I will continue to enjoy playing. The staff is friendly with the snack bar that provides good food with other items you can purchase. Very Nice Course Layout!
Herndon Centennial Golf Course - Very Nice!
What a great course with the fairways and greens kept in very nice shape and the layout perfect. Herndon had everything needed to get warmed up with a driving range, putting and chipping area and the grill was outstanding…Great Food. All around a Great Course to play Golf!
Textbook neighborhood Muni
Exactly what the title says. Staff is friendly and it’s a haunt for the locals, especially in the mornings. Recent tee box restorations have been excellent and they maintain the greens and course well. Layout is very bland, very short no real teeth other than the greens can run on the quick side depending on time of year. Excellent for the weekend warrior/ newer golfer and the price is excellent for those looking to walk 18 and hit a ball while you do it.
Solid Layout and Pace of Play
Very reliable, Herndon C always delivers value and challenge for us senior golfers. A very enjoyable layout, challenging Greens, and decent conditions. Bunkers and tees have received expert attention this year, improvements noted . Very walkable. The restaurant Eggs Carne is excellent.
Highly recommend
I’ve played here three times so far and each time it’s only gotten better. The tee boxes have all been fixed and the greens are in perfect shape. It’s not a super difficult course (6200 tips) but it’s a fun challenge and great way to practice your shots.
Mid
First off, office/kitchen staff were great and super nice, this is not a bash towards them.
Heading onto the 10th hole the bulletin board said 90 degree cart rule.
On hole 15, we had the cart about 5 feet off of the cart path and then the superintendent speeds at us in his 4 runner ( no on the cart path) yells at us that it’s cart path only, says he will be watching us, then backs up super fast ( also not on the cart path and damaging the grass).
58 dollar green fee for a twilight time, can’t bring the carts to the parking lot, pretty overpriced range balls, overpacked putting/chipping green, and over rated practice facility.
Course is fun, greens are nice, tee boxes could use some work, superintendent is annoying, overall worth a visit.
