Outstanding experience from start to finish! Worth the money with friendly staff even for a 7:10am tee time & starter gauged our needs sharing his knowledge with a few tips of the course!

1st Impression is overall good👍.

Couple notables.

Driving range - working off mat bad during dry conditions.

Practice Putting surface flat no imagination- I get okay

Snack bar a best average- typical public course snack bar, grab n go- check in person serve at grab n go. I guess this one way to save money.

Fairways decent but greens were aireated The overall impression is good. However, there are a few notable points to consider.

Firstly, the driving range is working well, but it’s important to note that the mat is not working properly during dry conditions.

Secondly, the practice putting surface is flat and lacks imagination. I managed to get an okay score on it.

Thirdly, the snack bar is a good average. It’s typical of a public course snack bar, with grab-and-go options. The staff at the snack bar check in and serve food at the grab-and-go counter. I suppose this is one way to save money.

Fourthly, the fairways are decent, but the greens are aerated which made it difficult to putt, so I chalked it up as a day of practice on the short game and scoring hits on GIR(Greens in Regulation)

Last but not least no Fans on the greens to blow or stir air minmize the flying insects on the greens.

I’ll return once greens are better. Overall the course was ok!

I was walking and I depend on the water stations being full on the course. It was 90 degrees and the staff put out absolutely no drinking water on the course. This is unacceptable and someone should be held responsible for this.

Gloomy day but only drizzled. Was able to finish the 18 hole in a little over 4 , mainly played single on back nine and front nine with a twosome that was playing in great pace. Staff were nice and accommodating.

First time playing here. Played Saturday morning, 8:40am. Nothing particularly special about the driving range, chipping green, and putting green, but the course at least has all 3 and they were decent size and in good condition. That’s rare these days and this time of year for public courses. Pace was fine, we hardly ever waited and it was brief when we did. Your is very generic back and forth and not super exciting, and the condition wasn’t anything amazing either, but compared to all the other public and semi-private courses I’ve played this season which are largely in sad condition, this one felt top notch. Greens were super slow, but at least they had grass on the whole green and no invasive weeds. A few holes on the back 9 felt a little tight and hokey for longer drivers, but it added some fun to the layout. Set within the broader Algonkian Regional Park along the Potomac with folks taking morning walks and stuff on paths through the course, the setting was very peaceful as well. For the price ($78) on a Sat morning, I would drive the 45 min back out to play this course again, no doubt. The vibe is great, and the course is in great condition for muni.

Generally open course. Usually have playable balls even if not in Fairway. However, I only played front nine.

A morbidly obese old man who works there frankly has no business interacting with the public

Such a great deal for a beginner course that is well taken care of, great staff, and just a really beautiful area

Other than the rude guy where I bought a driving range ticket, A+
