We really enjoy every time,Nice course!
Great course great staff, just need to take care more of their carts.
Not as bad as I was told.
I was told by some friends who are 4 handicap and under that the course was trash. Im a 10 and my friend is a 18. We both enjoyed the couse, conditions were great, rate of play was very fast for two people. I shot a 79 and my friend shot 88. Only fault I can say was that the greens were a little slow for my taste. Otherwise I would play this course again. Oh and beer prices were better than at my home courses...I took advantage lol...
standard 18-hole golf course
Rough was difficult. One or two holes were very wet, but the rest of the course was fine
Well designed beautiful course.
It was great experiece to play there with sunny day. It looked well maintained and the course was somwhat challenging, but exciting.
A decent value and the spring rain will definitely help
I thought $47 was a good deal, but my friends say there's coupons that do 2 for 1 at a better rate. Doesn't matter it was a good tee time for me. Course was still a bit rough and tees seemed dry. I rained/drizzled all day, and still is 2 days later, so thats gotta help it. That slowed the pace to 4-1/2 hrs
Staff was courteous and snack bar had homemade sandwiches for $5.50 with chips.
A good opportunity to tune up and work on a few shots.
Nice Golf course~
I bought Hot deal and played on Sat.
Nice weather and good condition of golf course.
I recommend this course~
Early bonus
Greens were the bet so far. Already seeded and sanded they were hard and fast. Course in great shape all round. Friendly and inviting staff. Be back soon.
Weekend afternoon round, reasonable pace, decent conditions
Once I realized they do not actually have a starter on late afternoon rounds, I took off for the first tee. My tee time was late because I was waiting for my actual tee time, unlike the group before me that showed up 7 minutes late for their tee time and proceeded to push me off the tee so they could start. 15+ minutes later I hit my tee shot and picked up to skip that group. Marshalling was not available. The good news was once I skipped over the mixed threesome on hole 1 that spent 10 minutes looking for TWO tee balls in the right OB, pace improved. I was able to finish in just under 4 hours, which I did not expect. Value was good, conditions were on par with the price, and the pace was good. What else could I ask for? (A starter and a marshall would be nice)
Fun to play but needs work
This course is tired. It's fun to play but needs some maintenance attention. The course also needs a Marshall. No one regulates pace of play. I was lucky enough to beat the crowd building on the course.
Nice Course, has character
I like this course as it has minor elevation changes, creek and ponds and trees that all together make for a pleasant round. Maintained well, not perfect, but a great value when coupled with GolfNow.
Best course for the money!
The course is beautiful, the staff is great and it is never so busy that you sit and wait.
Course is in good shape now, especially the greens.
I have played the course before later in the summer and the fairways were patchy. Right now, they are in very good shape. The course offers plenty of challenge. The Range is in poor shape (tees broken) and the facility is older, but the whole package is worth the price if you can get a golf now price.
great specials, great course, too many tee times
I have played here twice this year booking through Golfnow.com . $14 & $17. Prices you cant beat for 18 holes with cart. Some if the course is under a little construction however it does not interfere with play. Fairly flat for the most part. You won't loose too many balls as poor shots usually find their way into an adjacent fairway. Practice facilities are lacking any quality but everything else is great for the deals offered. Thanks for reading. Logan (15 hc) playing for <1 yr.
If you can play it for cheap.....
Maybe the worst sand traps I've ever seen. No starter or marshal. if the price is right, the course will challenge you.
Nice course to walk.
The course itself (fairways, greens, tee boxes) are in good shape. However, there is a lot of debris by the creeks and on and near the paths that detract from the overall beauty of the course.
Great value, Plays well, Straight shooters rewarded
We liked this course. It has a couple long par 5s, several par 4 and a few par 3. You need a good drive of about 250 yards on the par 4s to get in position for a nice approach shot.. The greens were very challenging and difficult to read. Only more time with them will improve our putting.
Usually Quiet, well maintained and quick pace of play
Title says it all. Cheap, nice condition, not too difficult, very well maintained.
This course is great bang for your buck.
Less than $18 to ride 18. It was a bit windy and brisk, but still definitely worth it. The course was wide open, only a few singles out there that played through. The course is always a good challenge, forgiving on some holes, not so much on others. It drained really well following Hurricane Sandy passing through. The only difficulty was finding your golf ball due to the afternoon sun glare and leaves blowing around, either covering your ball or making everything look like a golf ball. This is my go to local course and I'll definitely be out there playing it again in the near future.
Just a course to go for fun with friends
If you like to go out and mess around on the course with friends, than Westpark is great for you. If your someone who wants to golf for real at a really nice golf course, then i wouldnt go here. The shape of the course is okay, but the little details arent there, like the tee boxes arent ever maintained and the greens arent consistant and neither are the carts. Pace of play is always really slow. For the price though, you cant beat it.
