The Fairways

The greens are always in great shape but the downfall is the fairways have poor drainage which leaves the fairways soggy with a lot of standing water. The staff is always friendly and the pace of play is good, there are several challenging holes and many scoring opportunities so it's a great course for the average golfer

The greens are in terrific shape. The fairways are lush and the course is a great asset to local Spokane golfers. I had not played this course in a year, and it was a great surprise to see what excellent shape it was in. A fun course, close to the airport area, and with some fast and clean greens. Great job by the owner Buster, and his staff! Keep up the good work, and thank you for getting this course back in shape!

We paid $10 per player for 18 holes with carts. It was well worth it!

Not the best course in Spokane (by far). Cheap & easy

Iplayed this course several years ago and the water hazards were well maintained and added significantly to the beauty and challenges of the course. Today they are simply weed/cattail filled swamps or dry depressions.

I called the pro shop requesting a marshal to come out to the course due to slow play of groups ahead of us. The gal assured me there would be somebody right out. At that time there were four groups on one hole. That was the start of the 12 whole 42 minutes later I had only hitting my First shot off the 14th hole and yet there was still no marshal. I called into the pro shop again explain the circumstance and at that point asked if I could get a refund or a rain check. The assistant pro said go ahead pick up your ball come in and we'll talk about it. All he really wanted to do was argue with me and told me how he wasn't making any money on this deal. PS I spent $40 on beverages. I will never go back.

Course is in very good shape. Has come a long way in the last two years. Great course for beginners as well as the seasoned player. Not too long but long enough. Greens are in great shape, good and speedy but not too fast. Just enough trouble to keep you honest. You can't just spray the ball anywhere to score well here.

it was clear that the pro or guy staffing the front desk treated our group diffrently the moment he saw we had the deal tee time. out tee time was at 12 noon we didnt get off until 12:20. and we call the club house cause we had a 2 groups in front of us that were 2 holes behind and nothing was done to speed up the pace.

A good course for all levels of golfers, We had a very good time while there.

Picked up a last minute time at Fairways on Golfnow and headed up from Tri-Cities to Spokane to give it a try (150 miles). Great club house and warm staff got me going in a flash. I was placed with two gentleman at about my skill level and off we went. Pretty straight forward holes and the greens were in good spring condition.

It wasn't long until we began to get backed up and waiting on every hole. By the time we hit the back-nine, it was apparent that the issue was the two groups in front of us (one group of 4 and the other of 5). They were local college kids putting away Bud-lites, smoking cigars and spraying several balls apiece of in all directions at every tee-box. Unfortunately there was no course marshal to monitor and we did not say anything to the two groups since we were significantly out numbered by the intoxicated groups. We finished our 5-hr and 20-min round (yes that is correct) and I could not wait to leave the place.

Please do not get me wrong - the folks in the club house seem like great people and the course itself is fun and has several interesting and challenging holes. They just need to marshal the course.

Great place to play on a sunny day. Good value for the money. Course is usually in good shape. Pretty easy if you drive the ball 225-250 off the tee.

I thought that Indian canyon had the worst greens in spokane.. But that was before playing at the fairways. It is a little early in the season, but they were just awful. Shag carpet land mine. The tee boxes are all on side or down slopes with the ball above or below your feet which is just obnoxious. The fairways appear to have not been cut in a while. Lastly, do not be fooled by the 6400 yards the course claims from the back tees. Every dogleg corner can be cut without penalty taking 100 yards off of each of these holes. It plays closer to 6000 yards. For $29 on Saturday, your money and time is better spent going to the movie theater. Oh Did I mention the terrible pace of play?..
