Friendly staff, cheep round, great value
I've played here several times, it's a great coarse for the $. The coarse isn't always the best shape, fairways I've seen swampy in some areas and bone dry in others but, the greens are always nice.

Windy but Fun
Only complaint; very unfriendly and rude staff when we showed up. I was surprised because everyone said they were nice but we were treated poorly. Once we got onto the course, we had a great time. Open course with mediocre hazard. Greens were a little funky but overall, we had fun. Cheapest course in the area.

Great Value
Popped over for a quick 9 holes on Sunday morning. Got put out about 5 minutes early. Played in 1.25 hours. (3 foursomes offered for me as a single to play through - very nice) Flew through the course. Greens are in very good condition and consistent. Fairways are spotty but playable.

Local Resident consider the Fairways my "home course"
Staff is not very knowledgable besides one in the shop. No one seems to be able to run the sales system. I book all my tee times on GolfNow.com because that is the only way to get an affordable rate on a very Mediocre golf course that should be 10 dollars all day with a cart. Pace of play is frightening, way to many hacks on this golf course. what should take me by myself no more than 2 1/2 hours takes average of 4 1/2 to 6!! Greens are very inconsistent but always looking nice that is the best part by far of this golf course. the old carts they had at the Fairways would die on the 5th to 8th holes and have to limp back to cart shop to get new one no one comes out and picks you up i guess they dont have enough staff even though i see more than a few people working at any given time but seems like they do only the job they were hired to do and nothing else. the range is bad because it is always on mats and that does not help especially the caliber of golfers this golf course attracts since it is normally somewhat aforrdable

Great staff, very friendly, started right on time, not crowded that day, weather was very windy..... fairways and green's were in excellent condition... a little tricky trying to find the place...thank goodness for g.p.s.

better organization for teetimes
The clubhouse seems to be a little unorganized when teetimes are to be played and too many small children allowed on the course Seems like a safety and liability issue

Great course for the price
If your looking for a good value and you want a decent course this is your place. Stay away when it's been raining for several days. Otherwise when dry the course is usually in pretty good condition.

Windy and poor course condition
It gets windy on the West Plain. If it's 20mph in town, it's probably 40mph here. Condition from tees to fairways to greens is poor.

Fast hard greens
It was deceiving when we arrived, looked flat and open, then we hit the back nine........ Whoooo boy! Very challenging back! Liked it⛳
Great beginner course
I found The Fairways to be a very fun course to play. The day I played the wind was blowing pretty good so that made it interesting. There has been a lot of rain recently and there was standing water on many fairways and areas of rough. The fairways could use more yardage signs as well.
As this is a fairly flat course it would serve well as a course for people recently introduced to the game. The course flowed very well while there are some homes on the back 9. My favorite hole was the par 3 7th. Go out and play The Fairways.
Fast play
Love this course, fast greens with some really tricky pin placements, try to stay below the hole. After #10, leave your driver in the bag until you get to #15, unless you have an unlimited amount of Pro V 1's or aren't keeping score. Great staff and facilities although almost impossible to hit driver off the mats on the range. I usually play 1 or 2 times a week using hot deals and can get fees as low as $10 including cart

Course in very good shape considering the dry season.
Very Poorly run course
Horrible experience. Staff was lost on why course was backed up, falsely accused our group and even suggested we are playing wrong tees on a very easy course. Horrible check in that took forever, no one in restaurant portion of clubhouse at 11 am, and no one was in the bar . We played on a Friday and it was busy! Driving range in bad spot and balls litter a few of the fairways, pay attention coming up 18. Only positive was it was cheap with a golfnow. Many better options in area.
good value
Played a round with my grandson and enjoyed the pace and the course. I will be playing a round with my other grandson. The course is a good value overall. The course is challenging without being punishing!
