⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Walter Hall Golf Course delivers every time
Walter Hall is one of those courses that quietly surprises you with how solid it is from tee to green. The layout is fun without being gimmicky, the fairways are well‑kept, and the greens roll true — exactly what you want in a dependable local track. The mix of tree‑lined holes and open looks keeps the round interesting, and there’s enough challenge to make you think without ever feeling punishing.
The staff is friendly, the pace of play is usually smooth, and the practice facilities make it easy to get some real work in before a round. Whether you’re out with friends, playing a casual solo round, or trying to post a number, Walter Hall is just a great place to spend a few hours.
A consistently enjoyable experience — highly recommend.

Spring slop
The course was in surprising condition for the rain we’ve had of late. Yes, the low spots were mud bogs and even some flat area in a few fairways were soggy enough for mud to cover the toes of my shoes (thank goodness for waterproof Eccos. Otherwise, the course was very well maintained and the greens were in great shape. The greens keeper might have had a rough one the night before based on a few pin placements but that made an otherwise easier course more challenging. The layout is fairly wide open like many municipal courses and getting out of trouble after an errant shot wasn’t too bad. All in all a better experience than I initially expected.
