Day after a snowstorm hit the area!
Got the itch to play a round with my son. Though most local munis were closed due to snow and soggy conditions, Nile was open. The course drains very well (compared to most others). Yes, a bit soggy, but still in great condition considering. A day golfing with the boy (now 32 y.o.), priceless!
Target golf
Short clean course with some fun holes. No par 5s and all the long par 4s are doglegs, so you can pretty much leave the driver in the bag. Greens are in good shape and make for some fun bendy puts, speed is pretty consistent all the way around. Fun par 3s always over a hazard or some feature.
Only thing that sucks is the walk from 9 to 10 up a big hill aside from that it’s a decent course to walk.
Fun Course to Play
First time playing at this course. Rain was expected on week day and not many showed up so I played without any delay or push from a group behind me. Lovely course. I liked how you had to drive in between the course to get to the club house.
Tee time on online
I use teeoff for tee time reservation. But Nile keeps changing tee time on teeoff for each day. I don't understand why. Do they want us to use online reservation or not? Yesterday, we had to play at 1:50pm. I didn't like to play that late. But lower price, no choice. Please be considerate, reasonable time and the price Please.
great course for the price
enjoy playing to work on my longer irons and short game. pretty easy to get on during the week and very affordable.
