Golfer Reviews
Shriners
I thoroughly enjoy playing this course. The staff are extremely friendly and great at communicating. Several times they have allowed me to walk on. This go around I had a reserved tee time. The rate of play is good, sometimes folks show poor golf etiquette but that has nothing to do with the course itself. For level of play, perfect balance of challenging and less challenging holes. The upkeep of the course is great. You will see some yellow patches, but they are not on the holes you play. I highly recommend this course.
Just an Idea ....
The booking process was easy and seamless. The course was in reasonable shape considering we're moving into July/August. The greens were firm and putted extremely fast.
The pace of play could have better. A friendly reminder to players to consider 'Ready Play' and consider hitting from a tee box appropriate with their skill level would have helped.
Otherwise, a great day at the Nile.
Worth a try
Course was in really good shape. The greens ran true and were speedy. Some of the pin placements were slightly diabolical as any missed putt could leave you a 6-10 foot comeback. Walking the course is a little steep from the green after 9 until after 13. Up and down on those holes. Friendly staff. Good pace of play. Not my favorite track, but worth playing. And hole 3 is a beast!
Bravo
As summer approaches, the course keeps getting better because of the staff's efforts. Thanks for a greatly enjoyable round of golf to the Nile crew!
Great course and great people!
The Nile is well kept and usually in great condition. They take pride in maintaining it and it shows. Everyone is always very friendly, including the restaurant staff. Always a great time!
ENJOYABLE OUTING ...
Given the moisture the Seattle area has received this spring, the course was in very good condition. Some wet spots.
Overall, very playable.
First time in their restaurant. Good food and service.
Not much they could do.
The place was a quagmire, but there wasn’t much they could do. Couple pretty dangerous little areas for the cart path when it’s slick. Don’t get going too fast or you could have some pretty Harry’s situations. 19th hole was pretty good for drinks, but the hotdog that was purchased was worse than leather. I mean, it was embarrassing and they need to really keep their eye on what they’re selling to the public as food.
Day after a snowstorm hit the area!
Got the itch to play a round with my son. Though most local munis were closed due to snow and soggy conditions, Nile was open. The course drains very well (compared to most others). Yes, a bit soggy, but still in great condition considering. A day golfing with the boy (now 32 y.o.), priceless!
