15 min rule
The course is easy to play and relaxing. Easily walkable and the pace of play is average, around 4.5-5 hrs for 18 holes. If the Marshall is actually on duty, the play moves as it should.
The 15 min rule… even if you reserve your tee time, call ahead and show up before the tee time… at this course, the guy at the desk will not let you play if you do not check in 15 min prior to tee off. No where on the site shows this, so heads up.
Good for the price
Be prepared to wait. It’s very pretty and well maintained and has decent prices and that all leads to booked tee times. Staff is great and friendly. Play here often and will continue
Fun Course
Course isnt long but has a lot of fun holes. Worth trying out.
Good Warm UP
This is a great course for getting warmed up for other courses. Always my Go-To course for the quickness of it with a Par 65, but yet still feels like a regular 72. Some of the Greens were a bit hard and made it somewhat challenging for determining the speed of putt.
Playing from the women's tees
Half of the tee boxes were shut down to maintenance. No par 5's. We basically played from the women's tees and finished in 3 hours. Cart path only. Should have walked for the price.
Temp greens and cart path only
Affordable course and friendly with temp tee boxes and a lot of very short par 3s. Enjoyable for casual golf round
Short and tight
The greens were in good shape. The teeing area showed a lot of use. It’s a fun course but not built for long hitters.
Painfully Slow Play!!!
Played this short Executive course a year ago and said I would never go back! But close to my uncles house and he said was in better shape. Course condition yesterday was as follows . Greens pretty good, fairways were scruffy with weeds and yellow flowers, tee boxes pretty beat up..The real issue here is pace of play. I could easily walk this course holing out every hole in no more than 2.5 hours. Anyone should be able to do it in 3 hours! Our round last year took 4 hours , yesterday it was 4:20 . Many times there were 3 groups on tee boxes. Every tee we had 2. Many groups quit at nine but back was just as slow. Never once saw a ranger. If a very slow round on a very mediocre golf course is your thing then you will enjoy. Otherwise stay away as you will spend 2 hours standing around.
Perfect Course for a quick round.
I play this course a lot during the winter. It is the best bang for your buck and dries pretty quick. Several holes can be made challenging when you get creative with course management..
