Kenwanda Golf Course
Kenwanda Golf Course overlooks the Snohomish River Valley with views spanning the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges. Located just 40 minutes north of Seattle, the course is one of the best golf values in the area. Ken and Wanda Harris built the course in 1967, which has since garnered a reputation as a great place to practice every aspect of your game. Though the layout is not a formidable test, you'll find challenging elements throughout, including hidden greens and sloped fairways that are lined with mature trees. The holes are long and hilly, making the golf course a bit tough to walk, but providing stunning views. Flat lies are hard to come by on the tough greens, which have tricky pin placements as well. Accuracy is key at Kenwanda Golf Course; if you can't keep it straight you might find yourself in the trees.

Food & BeverageCafe
This was a group outing, I was invited to play for free. It is easy to get 4 group tee times together. This is a typical mom and pa golf course, you can see lots of deferred maintenance around the course.. Probably just matter of time before it is sold to housing developers. About the course, most of the lies are side hill, down hill or up hill. When you think you are on a level lie, you are standing in uneven holes and mounts in the middle of the fairway. Be careful if you walk the course, there are lots of holes and mounts, those I called them ankle twisters. Green fees are cheap, the food and beverage are on the expansive side for what you get.
Ok for the money
The course was just ok. Great staff. Course was pretty rough. Greens were below par. Lots of bare spots
Cart paths were horrible, rough and rutted
Not very busy and I see why...
Awful playing conditions
Good course very welcoming and fun but the course is a dog track. Sandy tore up greens that are SLOW and frustrating and your ball plugs right in the can I call it a fairway. The fairway is cut the same length as the rough and the "bunkers" and hard packed. Good to practice but wouldn't
Fun casual golf course
This is a fun place to play with your friends or to work on your iron shots. Not a competition level course by any means but forces you to play everything the hard way with hidden greens, sloping fairways, and tough tree placement.
best value in the area
I love this course. I've never had to wait. Pace is always good. Staff is super friendly. It was a little soggy in the low spots ( 8 & 12), but it's been raining for the last week, so it was expected. Best value for the money.
What to expect for 16 dollars
Although much of the negative issues had to do with the weather conditions, don't expect anything amazing. Fun little track for a driver sand wedge kind of day. Although I couldn't get a tee into the ground, don't even expect to practice your short game here, and driving on the course doubles as extreme off roadin. There were some nice views and the staff was friendly. What did I expect for $16.
I love this course. I get asked often "how have you improved your games so much". I ask them "have you played Kenwanda"?. If you haven't you need to. It's a great course.
Terrible course conditions
The price to get on this course isn't bad, but still not worth the money. There is no advantage to hitting a shot down the middle of the fairway, because there are no fairways. They let the fairways grow into rough. Also 1/3rd of the hole's greens are half dirt. Fairly easy course despite course conditions.
Good views on some of the holes.
Could be a fun course if there was some upkeep.
Good course for the money
Cheap rates and it was wide open so the pace was great. Greens were like putting on wet rugs, but started to dry out a bit as the day went on. Nice open fairways make it easy to find your ball and a most of the par 4's are driveable in only one or 2 shots.
Fun course for the money. I think the greens can be a bit challenging, but that is what makes it fun!
Condition not the best
Was an easy course but the poor conditions of the greens and tee boxes made it a lot more difficult. Very small greens with a lot of bumps which made putting a challenge. This was the first time I played there and could see if you played there a few times the course becoming a lot easier
Just not worth the money
I've played here many times and every time I walk off 18 regretting playing. My most recent round I spent most of the day frustrated by lopsided greens with very poor pin placements and bumpy, uneven roll. On in two many times only to 2-3 putt and I'm not bad with my putter.
Friendly, local public course
I play Kenwanda frequently because it is close to my home. The staff is always very friendly as are the patrons of the facility. Since we're at the tail end of the winter season I would say that the course has faired pretty well. They've already punched and sanded the greens so in another couple of weeks they should be rolling really nicely, The fairways were in really good shape with a few exceptions where drainage is an issue but hey this is Western Washington after all.
Great price, but some of the course is in bad shape as of now, might want wait til late spring to play if you want the course to be in better shape.
Had a good time, course isn't in the best shape. Get what you pay for.
Enjoy playing here
Weather wasn't the best but were able to play the 18 holes in good time.
a golf course in a cow pasture"
A great day on a fair course, no towel's on the ball washer's, garbage can's were all full, fairway's looked like a back yard , no marked arrow's to the next hole, no cart path direction, green's were well kept!... a good staff!
Good to practice
We play winter but not so much wet,
6.13.16 has warning advice pro shop gave us.
Player were friendly also.
Wet but Fun
I was able to play alone and work on my game which was great.
A few holes on the back nine were very wet and a few were heavy with leave cover. If it is wet weather ask if you can play front nine twice.
