Very compact and casual.
Raspberry is a 9 hole course that features very tight fairways and short but challenging holes. There isn't too much to say other than it I don't recommend it for slicers as there is no forgiveness for them. If you are looking for a short and casual walk it is good but there are far better courses in the area.
Nine hole
Nice course to stay tuned up. Course plays well with large greens and some challenging pin placements. Great staff and a good restaurant on site. Beautiful view of Mt Baker from #1 green.
Fun course, low stress, great for winter golf
I really enjoyed this course. It was in excellent shape, especially for the winter. I'll play it again.
The course is year round course
It is a nine hole course which is played from different tees. Great course for keeping your game tuned up. The restaurant is excellent breakfast or lunch. Enjoy your game of golf
Great Value!
Are there nicer courses? Yes.
Are there cheaper courses? Yes, although not by much.
What you get at Raspberry Ridge is a well maintained 9 hole course that is a lot of fun and will not break the bank. Every round I've played here has been enjoyable.
Chill Out - This Is Fun
Golf is supposed to be fun - not everyone wants to leave a course feeling like they've been in a street fight. That being said, go and have fun at this 5650 yard course. There is a lot of gray on the fairways but everyone is friendly and the pace quite good. Greens are great and quite large for this kind of course. One quirky thing is that the GolfNow reservation needs to be printed off and shown when you check in. Kinda hard to do if you are on vacation or book on short notice away from your printer or you use the Mobile App. The kind lady at the Pro Shop accepted my confirmation number. Silly rules imposed with no thought process as to practicality are hard to fathom. Go play and have fun at the Raspberry - you won't be disappointed!
well kept
This course is very well kept. Golf etiquette is sometimes lacking, players shooting out of turn, stepping on put lines, not respecting the course, taking care of divits and ball marks. And wearing even basic golf attire. But it is a family course with great rates and that keeps me coming back so really not too much to complain about. The pace of play is ok. Over all a good experience!!
Great for a quick nine
A great little course. My go to for when I want to work on my game. You can pump out a quick nine (an hour and a half if you're really moving and don't get behind a foursome of old timers) just about anytime during the week or weekend afternoons. Easy to go around and do a second nine too as they don't stack tee times too tight. Very walkable, although they have carts, they're really not necessary here.
All par fours, with the exception of the 2 par 3s. The course is always in great shape, well manicured fairways and greens. Unlike a lot of courses in Whatcom County you can play this one year round. Food is decent at the bar and grill and the servers are cute. All in all a great little course!
Fun course
I like playing at Raspberry Ridge because the course is a little shorter, and easier but still challenged you. The staff is friendly, the pro shop is well stocked and the restaurant is good
You get what you pay for and more.
Great value. Course was in great shape. Wide fairways and challenging greens. No. 3 par 3 has a bunker in the middle of the green... so watch out. Not much water. Easy to walk. Staff is nice.
A Golfers Paradise
This course is very well maintained and a pleasure to
play. No par fives but challenging par fours and par
threes. Greens are in good condition with good
speed and nicely undulating for a good test of
putting. I can't wait till I get an opportunity to
play there again in such a beautifully mature
setting of trees surrounded by Raspberry fields.
The Cllubhouse and eating facilities were an
extra bonus as was the overly friendly staff.
Course Review, Raspberry Ridge
Raspberry Ridge is a wonderful golf course, always well maintained, this family run course one I highly recommend for both high and low handicapper's. The staff is friendly and always helpful, the food is great. A golf gem for sure!
Raspberry Ridge is great
This was my second ever round of golf. I reserved a one player tee time. When I arrived at the course I found that I had been paired with another player. At the moment my playing level is terrible, the other player was very good patient gracious but left after nine holes of 18. The course was slow customer-wise so I was able to play on after a while. The course is in great shape, has some challenging fairways. I'm looking forward to going again. BTW, Steve in the pro shop is very friendly, great attitude.
Great to play
I play this course a lot Love it Great staff, challenging course easy till you get too swinging.
Great Friendly Local Course
Excellent course conditions. Greens are running true and fairways are great, not soft or squishy like a number of other courses in the area. Very friendly staff.
Best year-round course in Whatcom County! 9-holes.
Excellent course for regular play and value. Easy fairways, generous greens. The greens are faster than most in this area. The course is playable all year and is rarely too wet to play like many Whatcom County courses. The value is great. Keep in mind the course is 9 holes. It seldom takes more than 2 hours to play 9 holes even when busy. I play this course multiple times per week, and consider it my 'home course'
