Lake Cushman Golf Course is perched on the Olympic Mountain above Hoodsport. The course runs alongside the Hood Canal, a location that is abundant in wildlife and where golfers will enjoy fresh mountain air. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills scattered with mature trees. You can choose between playing nine holes or playing the different back tees for a full 18-hole round. It's an easily walkable layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. It's a golf course where low handicappers can work on their skills in a no-pressure environment and high handicappers will be put to the test. The scenic setting is worth playing a round at Lake Cushman G.C. regardless of skill level. In addition to the golf course, there is a practice facility with a wide-open driving range and a putting green with a bunker.

Very Nice Olympic Foothills 9 Hole Golf Course
We try to play this course once a week during our annual 3-4 month stay in Allyn Wa.
The lady in the Golf Shop (her name escapes me) is very good and takes good care of us. Even though the greens are a little slow, the condition of the course is very very good. For 18 holes, the tees are set up so your basically playing an 18 hole golf course.
We will continue to return.

Balmy February Round
Hit a great February Day and Hot Deal at Lake Cushman. Temps in the mid 50's and no wind or rain. Course is pretty wet but not muddy. One temp green and one temp tee box. Greens were fair and held well. Odd but interesting layout. Only one or two traps. A creek comes into play on the approach to a couple holes. Not too many people on the course despite the great weather. Good practice course -especially for the beginner - and you can't beat the price.
This course is in great shape
This course is certainly a gem. It is in great shape, well maintained and in a beautiful setting. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. You can't beat the value here for a nine holer.
Has both fairly easy and challenging layout. Fun to play.
Fun challenging 9 hole course
well maintained putting greens, tough undulating greens ,chipping and putting must be at a premium to score. variety of holes. easy to walk and real nice tree and mountain setting.
Fun course and beautiful setting
This 9-hole layout is in a beautiful setting cut out of a forest -- tree-lined fairways, water hazards on most holes and wandering deer were part of our 3 1/2 hour round. The course is relatively short, but still presents a legitimate challenge to the average golfer. Greens were in excellent shape and fairways well watered, in spite of a lengthy dry spell. While the course will never be called a "championship" layout, the beautiful scenery, interesting holes and pace of play made our round very enjoyable.
