Lake Cushman Golf Course is perched on the Olympic Mountain above Hoodsport. The course runs alongside the Hood Canal, a location that is abundant in wildlife and where golfers will enjoy fresh mountain air. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills scattered with mature trees. You can choose between playing nine holes or playing the different back tees for a full 18-hole round. It's an easily walkable layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. It's a golf course where low handicappers can work on their skills in a no-pressure environment and high handicappers will be put to the test. The scenic setting is worth playing a round at Lake Cushman G.C. regardless of skill level. In addition to the golf course, there is a practice facility with a wide-open driving range and a putting green with a bunker.

The maintenance of this course is phenomenal. After freezing and snow and endless rain and cold the crew has the fairways and greens in great shape.
On at Lake Cushman
Four temporary greens. When checking in, starter told us that Golf Now was to have called me and notified me that the course was to be closed this day because of work on greens. Golf Now never called as well as the starter told me that she had called Golf Now five times with no answer or return call. None the less, she allowed us to play. It was a beautiful day, so temporary greens were tolerated.
Wet day,,
Played 18 w/cart in right at 2 hours. Things were pretty wet but very playable. Carts only allowed on cart path so there is some walking involved. Well worth the drive from oly!
Great ad usual
Great 9 hole course - super friendly staff and regulars that I seem to see everytime out. The only thing that slows the pace is waiting for the deer to clear the fairway every once in a while. Really fun course and great value we for the money. Wish it were a bit closer to Olympia but have still made the drive a half dozen times this faĺl and will be back.
