Golfer Reviews
One of the driest courses in Seattle Metro area
The Nile is one of the driest courses in Greater Seattle.
The greens were in super shape and rolled like it was August.
The Staff is always welcoming. They know your name and Joe Korn is an outstanding Head Pro who always knows your name and wants to help you have a great round.
It's one of my favorite places to play!
Beautiful setting
Very enjoyable venue, scenic, well maintained, friendly staff. More of a challenge than you would think.
Fun beginner course
Nile has always been a go to course for a relaxing round or bringing newer golfers. The greens are normally in fairly good shape and some short driveable par 4s.

Great value and a fun tight little course.
I've been going to Nile Shrine for many years now, and it is such a great value! It's a tight and mostly narrow course with no par 5s and some tricky par 4s. You could play nothing larger than a 4-iron off the tee or be bold and go driver/wedge on most of the back 9. The course pro, Joe Korn, is a really great guy and has always taken care of me well. The one event I organized there went very smoothly, and we felt well accommodated. The only thing I wish they could work on is their warm-up nets and have a more present marshall for the fairweather weekends.

One of the best maintained golf course in the Seattle area
Well maintained from tee box to green. Greens keepers could be seen maintaining this course even in the winter months.. Nile is not a beginner’s course even though it is only par 67
I miss the old Nile
This used to be one of my favorite courses to play in the area because it played pretty fast and the price was good. Just played here at 12:30pm on a Saturday in mid-March and the conditions were pretty poor overall, bad drainage, lots of puddles, and the greens were very bumpy. Also pace of play was super slow, and the price has gone up too much to make it worth it. I know inflation is real, but paying almost $50 for a round in mid-March on a short course in these conditions just makes this course not worth it anymore.
Also, please cut down the huge branch on 13 on the super downhill par 3 that is perfectly blocking a straight shot if the tee box is on the right. Pic attached
