One of the best maintained golf course in the Seattle area
Well maintained from tee box to green. Greens keepers could be seen maintaining this course even in the winter months.. Nile is not a beginner’s course even though it is only par 67
I miss the old Nile
This used to be one of my favorite courses to play in the area because it played pretty fast and the price was good. Just played here at 12:30pm on a Saturday in mid-March and the conditions were pretty poor overall, bad drainage, lots of puddles, and the greens were very bumpy. Also pace of play was super slow, and the price has gone up too much to make it worth it. I know inflation is real, but paying almost $50 for a round in mid-March on a short course in these conditions just makes this course not worth it anymore.
Also, please cut down the huge branch on 13 on the super downhill par 3 that is perfectly blocking a straight shot if the tee box is on the right. Pic attached

Great course to get back to golf after winter!
Overall the golf course was short in length with no Par 5's but some challenging dog hook holes and plenty of trees. The course was in decent condition, considering it was wet and the greens could be tough with elevation and lots of undulations. After not playing for a while due to colder conditions, this was a great course to get started back up again. Also nice for the mid-range and short game.

A great short course
Nile Shrine is a great short course, one where you really never need to whip out the driver but if you choose to bring it out and hit it well, you'll be set up on quite a few holes with a very approachable shot into the green. The greens roll true and are largely forgiving.

Good neighborhood course
Short, narrow course, very hilly. The fairways have lots of bare spots, perhaps due to winter season.

Nice short course with challenges
Usually get stuck behind or with "hacks" which really slows the pace of play. A short course like this you would expect to complete in 3+ hours, but it's always 4+ hours! So plan accordingly and enjoy!

Great course for the money
Been golfing on this course for over 20 years. Golf it all year round. Can get a little slushy in the winter but that's what boots are for! Staff is very friendly, get you out on time or even earlier if possible. Maintenance crew is great keeping up with daily grounds keeping and storm recovery. A little hidden gem in MLT right off the freeway!
Pleasant pro shop staff
The pro shop attendant gave me great help as a first time player at the Nile on things I needed to know to get around the course. Very helpful. No two holes were alike, so plenty of shot making to think about. Pleasant views from some holes of the neighboring lake.
