Play was slow and course was soggy
The course was in better than average shape, but play was slow (5 hours and a lot of waiting). Someone must have left the sprinklers on all night because the course was soggy and it hasn't rained in weeks. And had 2 electric carts die on us.. But I like the course and will go play there again.
I usually enjoy playing here.
Silverhorn one of the most fun courses around with plenty of difficulty for me without leaving me too frustrated. The course itself is in pretty good shape. The greens were excellent. No complaints and would always recommend this course to a friend.
Nice layout. Good balance of more and less challenging holes.
One of my 'go to' courses when I want good solid golf and good value. Mostly in good shape and very playable. Have taken quite a few out of town friends here and all have found it very enjoyable. Always have a hard time with #13. That hole hates me but I'll get it one of these days.
nice course with one exception.
There is a par 5 on the back nine that has multiple creek hazards that impedes the speed of play due to limited cart access. This hole needs major redesign and bulldozer work.
Slow Play and not in pristine condition
This is a slow round of golf with much wait time and no marshalls to help speed up play. You will find many 5-somes on the course as well. There are some very challenging holes here which causes a big delay as many golfers are looking for their golf ball instead of using the 5 minute rule for finding the ball.
Silverhorn
Doing alot to make the course more presentable. They have fixed drive in road and they are working on the greens, but players have to start helping by fixing divot marks more.
