About
This challenging 18-hole, 6,501 yard, par-71 championship layout is situated between the sea and the coast range. The course has recently reopened following a major redesign authored by Jacobsen Hardy Golf Course Design. The redesign included 18 new green complexes, an additional 400 yards and stunning new views.
The back nine is situated on the west side of HWY 101 and winds along Siletz Bay near the ocean. The front nine lies on the other side of the high way on a picturesque hillside setting. Salishan Golf Links in known for its merciless roughs that gobble up errant hit golf balls. If you are looking for a challenging course along the beautiful Oregon coast, Salishan is sure to please.

Awesome Oregon coast course
Got lucky with the weather. Perfect day with little to no wind. I imagine this course can be tough with wind. I likes that you have to play your way around this course and just not bang driver on most holes. The greens were on the small side but fast, true and in great shape. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this course if you are on the Oregon coast..
The back 9 was very frustrating - way too many players. The wait times before you could T off was too long.

Worst golfing experience of my life
The large man at the pro shop was the farthest thing from a gentleman.
Is cramming groups of people together in the middle of a pandemic.
Will never come back.
Great course with some ocean views
Course was in great shape pace of place was excellent some ocean views on a handful of the holes amazing for the cheap price

Played in 3 hours and 40 minutes. Whole course was in great shape
Beautiful course
Definitely a tight track especially on the front 9. The course was in great condition overall and got my round in 2 hours and 40 mins!
Gorgeous views!
Lovely course in excellent condition. Forest and ocean views were outstanding. Greens are firm but fairways well maintained and pace was 3.5 hours for 18.
Only 1 complaint
Beautiful course but only complaint would be in the golf pairing for play. Our group was already group of 3. There was 1 man ahead of us and instead of matching him with every other group that was only 2 he was put with our group, making us group of 4. Therefore, we let 1-2 groups of 2 players through us in order to not slow them down.
