Peninsula State Park Golf Course

We had a grand day on this beautiful course! Our golf game was not the best of the season but we loved our day at Peninsula!

I like the course but am disappointed that unless you agree to play 18 holes you cannot play the back nine. Twice I was not allowed to play back nine when the course was not busy.

There are several nice public courses in DoorCo, but you have to play Peninsula. Excellent course with many improvements over the years. Peninsula has the best scenic views and is both challenging and fun for all.

I have played here for almost 60 years and I keep coming back because it is well worth it. Some days, during crowded times in DoorCo, it can be slow playing but, just enjoy the views and your time in the park. They do a pretty good job spacing groups and the folks working there are always friendly and helpful.

The best golf course in Door County.

The course out here is beautiful. Challenging enough but still able to get out of some trouble on bad shots. Only thing I would improve is that the clubhouse was closed at the turn at roughly 6pm in summer. Wish they had it open a little later. Overall a really fun course to play on and I plan to return next summer.

Besides being located in gorgeous Door County, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. When we found that the GPS screen had problems, a new cart replacement was immediately sent out.

My favorite course in the state. Make sure to play it AT LEAST once a year, and in the fall if possible. The back nine is the best string of nine holes in Wisconsin.

Had a great round. Nice way to finish out the season with beautiful fall color. Love the elevation changes at the course.

It is difficult to recommend a course where one hole couldn’t be played at all and another had a temporary green. This late in the season, even the fairways are hard pack. It would have been nice if they would have told me the situation before I paid full price.

Every visit to Door County includes a round at Peninsula. Likely to use every club in the bag. Awesome views so don't forget the camera/phone. The back nine is a challenging walk.

We played 9 holes on Tuesday 9/27. Cloudy, rainy and windy but we still had a great time. The clubhouse was clean and staff was very friendly.

Highly recommend when visting Door County!

This is a very nice old course with a great layout and some FANTASTIC VIEWS....

I love this course, old mature trees, back 9 that is much more challenging than front, cool cliff hole, a 12th hole that is a great challenge, a sled hill hole, need I say more?! Awesome special place

$70 seems like a steep price for a course under construction after Labor Day without a drink cart! ($53 Military Tee Times)

I always really enjoy playing Peninsula when we’re in Door County. Pace of play was very good and the course was in very good condition overall.

Good place to play, but can be a bit slow due to walkers wearing out on the back nine.

Neat layout of a old course. Routes through the park so lots of old mature trees. Great views of the bay on a few holes. It doesn't have that good grooming so you'll need to roll your ball off of no grass hard pan a lot if you're so inclined. But play it for the views and fun.
