In great shape

This is in better shape than anytime I can remember. There are two 18 hole courses here. Nothing spectacular but there is plenty of challenge and great conditions. Can play a little slow occasionally like anywhere. Best value in the area, and the only thing you don't get here that you get at the more expensive places is the frill. If it is wet, you'll have to walk.

Pleasant Twilight Experience.

Picked my son from the airport, called looking for availability, and headed right to the course, a course he had played once as a Junior. Forgot it was 36 holes, we could choose which course to play, and after a short wait at #1, we played in 3 1/2 hours, with cart for $55. No blind shots, wide fairways, huge tees and greens, with nice sets of tees. I like to play from 6,000 yds, my son from 6,500. It's a Madison Parks course, gets lots of play and we did have to repair lots of ball marks on the greens, but even though the grass had grown during the day, the greens were fair and putts rolled on our lines. They have big cups on all the greens and shorter kids and beginner tees so it is great for the newbie to get a feel for the game. Sometimes you roll the dice for a shot at a good twilight golf experience, but we definitely were winners yesterday at Yahara Hills East.
