Everything Gold should be

I was fortunate to get out on a Tuesday and it happened to be a sunny 72 degree day.
I have played this course before but only twice so it was nice to gold with someone who was familiar with the layout. The only negative is that the golf manager is a minimalist and course layout, where to go for each tee box/green is not clearly marked. That being said, the pace of play was casual as to allow you to enjoy the beauty that is hidden away within the city limits.
From the beginning with valet parking, an understated pro shop and a beautiful outdoor bar/meeting place called 'the Turn' you are relaxed even before hitting the course. Access to a locker for the day and the warmth of the staff, this is truly a hidden gem.
The course itself is deceivingly difficult with its quick greens.
What a great day on a great course.
