The price was too exorbitant for the course.
Play was down because of the excessive rates..locals couldn't afford the $67 rates.went toother course's such as pinewood and mellen and eagle bluff in hurley

Beautiful course. Terrible pace of play
No complaints about the course or staff but they put a 5 some of women in front of us with a 4 some of women in front of them. They would not let us (2 some) pass them. Nobody was in the course to monitor it. No way with a full golf course should anyone let 5 people play together. It was SO slow.
Nice challenge
Great layout carved out of the north woods. Course was in great shape. Greens were running fast and rarely do you have a straight putt. Great challenge even if you consider yourself a good golfer.
Northwoods gem!
Good condition, challenging track.Good value.
Conveniently located to Miinocqua
Stay out of the traps
Course was in decent condition. Pin placements were brutal due to morning tournament held that day.
Traps had a lot of small rocks and were pretty ragged.

It’s a must play in the north woods. The best public course in that area.

Timber Ridge
It’s a course you have known where to hit it on certain holes otherwise you’re blocked by trees or if you hit it long you’re in the tall grass. Probably need to play a couple of times to know the layout

Had a great early round in 3.5 hours! Course in good to great shape. Hard to see flags on greens... they blend in to background

“Private Community”
This is in the description of the course and is appropriate. The course caters to its members (especially its men!) As a group of ladies we were told on the first hole to count and limit our strokes…and we did not see any other ladies on this course- we purposely made our tee time for a Wednesday morning- non holiday/non weekend and completed our 9 holes in just a little over 2 hours. The men behind us were dropping balls behind our carts when we were exiting the greens. The best thing I can say is that it was a beautiful day in northern WI-next time we will go back to St. Germain Golf Club or Plum Lake Golf Club. We were treated very well at both of those clubs.
Clearly we are not “private” or good enough golfers for this club, but our $ were definitely welcome.
Staff in parking lot/in clubhouse was friendly/starter hassled us throughout the course. We had 7 golfers and 4 carts and spent $520+drinks-I guess that is meaningless compared to the “private” members.
