Royal Scot Golf Club

About
Royal Scot Golf Club sits just 10 minutes outside of Green Bay and boasts some of the best greens in the area. Originally established as a private course in 1971, the course is now open to the public. The 18-hole course has a traditional links design that sprawls across a softly rolling landscape dotted with mature trees. The layout measures to just over 6,800 yards, providing some holes that will be sure to please long hitters. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and bunkers and trees also present hazards on several holes. Royal Scot Golf Club offers enough challenges for the low handicapper to enjoy a casual round while being gentle enough for beginners as well. The golf course finishes with a tricky par 4, a dogleg right that plays entirely uphill.

Reviews
Great course, friendly people
I went on a weekday at noon by myself and was able to complete 18 holes in 2 hours. Groups let me play through and had nice conversations with me while I did. The back 9 was a little wet, but that's expected with it being a wet spring and just rained the day before. The staff was great and let me start on the back 9 so I didn't have to wait.
early season
Being early in the season, I can understand why the course was still soft. Course very bumpy to ride in a cart. The bunkers were not raked at all.
The Greens are awesome!!!!!!
This is a great course to play. The fairways and greens are some of the best you'll play. It is not a very long course but however, it is challenging. The back nine is a bit bumpy but still nice. I would definitely play again.
Good value in Green Bay
Royal Scot Golf Course sits only minutes northeast of Green Bay. Ownership has invested in new sand for the traps, and the greens are always in good condition. Few forced carries make this a good course for weekend players, yet with enough length and challenge to be fun for better players. Multiple tee sets offer length appropriate for every level.
Can't beat the bang for your buck here.
The greens were some of the best I have played all year. Signage on the course is outstanding. The back nine has some bumpy fairways but does not take away from the course.
Great place for any level golfer to play!!!
Used to be a nice course, now-not so much
Course is just average. No memorability. Greens are in very nice shape but rest of course could use some work. Fairways are like riding over speedbumps all day. Maintenance staff was rude and would just keep working expecting us to wait for them rather than stopping and waiting for the customer.(and this was mid morning, not early) Won't return.
Course in great condition.
The clubhouse has a Wisconsin rural feel to it which, indeed, is exactly where it is. The food choices are basic and reasonably priced. As for the course itself it is fairly short from the white tees and fairly open. No forests to hit your drive into and lose a ball that way. However the course is surrounded by homes with the attendant out of bounds so you can lose a ball or two that way. I speak from experience. But the best part of playing here is the course condition. It really was great. Then fairways and greens were top notch.
GREAT VALUE!!!
I played the course the first week of june. Royal Scott had an outing that day so they were busy. I purchased a round off hot deal on here so it was like 22 bucks that included the cart.. Great DEAL.. I thought they had great practice area and range. I thought the fairways were a little wavy or bumpy but not to bad..Last I thought the greens where what stuck out most very nice.
Not bad for the Hot Deals price on a weekend
Played single, got off early thanks to an open tee sheet. Slow play and group bunch-ups after a brief downpour made about 9 holes waiters before I got through 2 groups. Starter really didn't know what to do with the GolfNow reservation and seemed a little annoyed by it, but other than that the bartenders are nice after the round. Your first round's price is your score. Greens were in very good shape and the course wasn't soggy despite all the rain we've had in the area. That is not the norm for many of the courses I've played this year around GB, which was nice for a change.
