2nd time
The first time I had played, I took over 4 and half hours mid week and mid day. I swore never to play it again. I did. The pace of play this time was 3:45 for 18. So I'll chalk the first to possible fluke. The fairways were brown in places but it has been a dry year. The greens, beat up in spots but nothing you couldn't work around.
Nostalgic Return
Was a member there for 2 years back when I was a late teen. It was fun to revisit. Amazing how trees grow in 40 years lol. Greens were in very good condition and really the whole course was in nice shape. Easy layout with some memorable holes. I would go back again.

I’m a novice golfer and still felt very comfortable. I thought the course was very well kept and very appeasing for a newer golfer.

Great value
First time playing. The practice green is way too small, they have the room, make that bigger. The course itself was very straight, but narrow. Fun course to play. Trees are trimmed well, so even if you slice you won’t lose a lot of balls. The greens were very well groomed, great shape. The fairways were a bit dry (great for added roll, harder to hit from) …but with our lack of rain understandable. Weird that you are not allowed to drive your cart to your car in the parking lot, they need to change that as well. Over all I recommend this course, great value for the course conditions. I will be back.

Pagonica continues a multi year upswing in course maintenance and improvements. Check it out if you're in the lake Country area.

Pagonica is a challenging course that was in fantastic shape - especially the Greens. Highly recommend adding it to your Lake Country area rotation.
All good except hole 9.
No one told us that on hole 9 the juniors were using it for driving practice. We drove into them as they were driving into us. They shortened the hole to a par 3 so this wouldn’t happen but it was not marked and no one told us about it. Lucky we didn’t hit one of the kids with our drive.
