A real pleasure. The Groundkeeper is one of the best. Both the fairways and greens are awesome.
Nice older local course
I played this course with a friend on a weekday morning. The design was pretty dated, but several holes had a need of 'local knowledge' to prevent problems. Not a long course, but playable. Greens were average, but fairways were nice and rough did penalize you a bit.
Great value
Really nice course. Lots of variety and interesting holes. Greens were recently top dressed; however they still putted well.
One of the top in the valley
This course has become my new favorite place to play. High quality experience from start to finish on all aspects.
River Falls
The fairways and rough were in good shape when I played. Greens were punched so I can't comment on them. Decent course but way to many blind shots for my liking. There are some tee box's pretty close to the greens which could be dangerous.
A Day at River Falls
The Ranger was very accommodating with allowing me to play as a single. He sent me off the back nine first to allow for quicker play. He did warn me the second nine might be a bit slower due to the many foursomes. The maintenance crew had just aerated the greens so the were a bit slower and rougher than normal, but that is to be expected. Otherwise the course was in tremendous shape. I do plan on returning with a group to play again soon.
Beautiful course
We saw a deer walking up the cart path in the middle of the afternoon,which added to the great golf experience.

Solid place for a regular outing. The course plays fair and if you hit it square, you score well.

Played here before, clubhouse has been upgraded which was nice. However, found out the price I got was the standard weekend rate, but the Golf Now ad was for 15 or 20% off (I thought). So with the $4.98 Golf Now cost, it cost me $5 more than just calling the course myself. So what's the benefit of using GN?
Nice Surprise
Very nice course in good shape. Greens and fairways were in great shape. Tee boxes average and rough was a bit torn up due recent heavy rain. Watch out for slow play-we played the front in just under 2hrs-the back took almost 3hrs due to a fivesome.a couple groups ahead of us.
Good course
I like the course except for one par 5 on the backside. You have to tee off with a 6 iron or so and don't have a realistic chance of going for the green in 2 (at least I couldn't). Other than that the course was fun, mosquitoes were out, so make sure to bring bug spray.
Quick round w idiots-1 legged man and oriental
Played Friday afternoon in good time. We were third group of twosomes in a row. A mystery twosome hopping around course appeared behind us and continued to pressure us even bough they played their 18 holes. They hit in os four times and it was going to end up w the one legged man knocked out. I would not go back . Too many blind tee shots that idiots crowding you will hit u.

Great course in superb shape ..watch out though the rough is US OPen depth and THICK. Wonderful venue...will play again as soon as I can
