Nestled within the North Woods, White Eagle Golf Club is surrounded by woodlands and wetlands that are home to an abundance of native wildlife. Carved from the hillsides surrounded the St. Croix River Valley, the scenic course is enveloped in a secluded tranquility that is the ideal setting for a relaxing round. The layout utilizes the features of the rolling terrain, creating a test that is challenging but fair. Mature trees frame the course as it winds across the landscape's natural slopes and elevations. Golfers should expect a few tricky uneven lies as well as some hard-to-read greens. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides as well as a few water hazards. Water most memorably comes into play on the finishing hole, where a waterfall provides the perfect aiming point.

Great atmosphere !!! Fun to play , could be a long day for a high handicaper but good tee selection could help have a more enjoyable time , northwoods feel in a park like setting , a challaging and fun course under Great !!! condions , a winner no doubt.

Really fun golf course
Had a really good time at White Eagle last week. Greens were really nice and rolled true. Couple of funky designed holes that should maybe be rethought, but the pace of play was excellent. I would definitely revisit as it was a very enjoyable day.
Brilliant but tough.
Spectacular views, with the course in mint condition from the tee block through the fairways, although I wasn’t on many of those 😂, to the traps and greens.
Modern carts with GPS, discount for being a 1967 baby, and friendly staff.
Anna is a beautiful gem too.
Highly recommend it, but take spare balls, as some holes are tight and narrow, if you’re not hitting straight it’s a tough one.
New Twin Cities favorite
Very nice course in impeccable condition. I’d agree with previous posts there are tricky blind shots, but I don’t think the course is tricked up at all. Some nice elevation challenges with green well below and well above on approach shots. Really brings creativity into play.
Will definitely play again and perhaps add to my regular rotation.
Scenic course and great value
No two holes are similar. Pretty course, mostly in the woods — few houses in sight. Friendly staff. Good pace of play. Good value, especially with senior rates.
Fun but Tough
I wouldn’t say it was an easy going round as there are many tricky shots your first time out. I did really enjoy my round and everything about the club. Beautiful and clean to say the least. I will definitely play here to test my skills and challenge my game with the tricky shot set ups especially playing from the tips. It will be at least a monthly spot to play for years to come with the conditions being top tier.

Great scenery and hole layouts. Course is very well maintained. Challenging fairways, bunkers and greens. Overall great experience!
Few too many blind tee shots with no targets for the initial tee shots.
Nice course but service was average
Nice, beautiful course. The online price wasn’t honored when I got there. That was the only bummer.
