Where's the ranger?
Always liked this course. How does it take 4 hours to play only 13 holes, especially after playing the front nine in 1 1/2 hours? I "caught up" with a threesome, behind a foursome, on the tenth tee. Never saw these people on the front nine. We're they inside having a hot dog for half an hour?
Gave up after 13. Rode in to the clubhouse from there and never saw more than a twosome once past that slow group of seven.
Wednesday, mid-day tee time. I hate to imagine what the pace is like on a weekend. Beware.

Awesome as always..... greens were FAST!!!!! My son and I had a blast...
Over all a great day
Staff was great . Food and drinks were good. The day we were there was 80 deg with a heat index about 87. There was no cart person driving around with drinks or food. The ports pitied out on the course needed some help the condition and smell wasn’t good. The only reason I mentioned this we had a woman in our group. Over all o give this place a B for a grade. The greens are very tricky. The challenge was great. I will definitely be coming back.
Good Value
Challenging elevated greens, in great condition. Eliminating the traps made this course “more fun” as it’s still a challenge but not over the top. Super staff.

Really nice course!
Kankakee Elks was a very challenging course. Some tough long holes and the rough was very rough! Not many sand traps , which is good! Greens were pretty tough.
Nice Course
This was our first time playing there. Staff was friendly. The course was well maintained and fun to play. We will definitely play this course again.
