Fun Course
This course has come a long way from the day of the rock filled sand traps. Over the past 2 years now I have seen vast improvements. Short is the courses only fault. The greens are always kept in very good shape, although not overly fast. Conditioning over all is a B+ to an A-. The real fact of the matter is the bang for the buck. Concordia delivers there, for the price the best you could find is an unkempt county course or beat up public course. For this fact alone the course is getting its share of play. Hopefully they are wise enough to know that it is that fine line price that gives them an edge over the overpriced cow pastures in the area. If they move the needle past the current price point $55 they will shoot themselves in the foot and Tee Times will dry up once again. It is not easy running a quality conditioned GC at bargain prices but this is what must be done to achieve steady play.
Played it Sunday
Read the reviews that the greens, fairways and tee boxes were all in good shape, and that was reliable. But the rough was pretty well, rough in a lot of spots, just poorly maintained. The layout was fine, rough, short course but no par 3s under 170 from the back didn’t really add up in my opinion. Probably wouldn’t play it again but a decent track given what’s in the area. 3/5
Narrow course, Overall good experience
Fun course, narrow fairways and small greens made it a bit of a challenge making up for the overall small length (from the white tees). That being said, on several holes that goes along with the driving range, there are no nets, and I quite literally had to sort through 20 balls on the fairway to determine which one was mine, not to mention having to keep an eye out for errant balls being hit from the range being hit directly at me. Extremely dangerous, serious liability, should anyone be struck. Aside from that it was a good course
Great Course
It is open and challenging. The staff was great and the place is beautifully kept
