The Links at Redstone - Warrior Course

I played this course today (5/31/2024) and have played it off and on since I was a kid in the 60s. It is in the worst shape today than I have ever seen it. Greens were slow and fairways were hard pan and bare. Terrible conditions. The course charges the members a maintenance fee on top of their membership fee for each round that they play and it is obviously not going to the upkeep of the course. Don't waste your money.

Well they had forecast possibility of rain, so Links announced it was CPO, Cart Path Only, I know that many of my senior buddy payers refuse to walk or play CPO ! Well it had no rain on course only had 6 players, & was just beautiful. It had rained day before day before so sand traps did need sand. We had a wonderful time & will play again.

1100 tee -time. Check in 15 prior, starter walks over and seems annoyed I booked through GolfNow then tells me to make sure I the off no earlier then 1100… ok. I’m on the box at 1058, tee off at 1100. Proceed to hole two, tee off, starter rushed over and tells me to wait for the guy behind me to pair with. He just teed off on one, my ball is on 2’s fairway and there are 4 holes in front of me empty. This guy has me wait 12 minutes on 2’s tee box to pair me with a single behind and even takes one of our carts away…

Without a starter this course is not an issue, with Eduardo at the helm it’s a different story. Very rude

Feb 27, 2024 it was a bit warm in Alabama, overcast as a storm approached. This made the PATRIOT Course very difficult. Windsu p to 16 mph made play diffiult and no one was on the golf course. The Golf Now price inclued a gof cart which surprised me. I will play this course cagain but not with such a deep discount, excellent place to play, not too crowded.

It’s in good shape for this time of year. Pace of play was very slow, which is not always a problem.

The course was in good shape for this time of year. Unfortunately, I got stuck behind a slow foursome on the back nine who wouldn’t let me through (I was a single). Oh well, a lesson in patience.

Course conditions were generally good for a warm day of winter golf. Greens were spongy yet putted fast . Good choice of grass length cut made a great challenge of play. Pace was good. Staff were great. We used the golf now hot deal to get maximum value deal! They have new electric carts which were very nice.

For this time of year, the course was in very good shape!

The Patriot course at the Links at Redstone Arsenal is a great design. Very interesting course. What takes the fun from the course is the exceptionally poor fairways. Apparently, the agronomists at the course do not know agronomy. Ie, they don't know how to grow grass. Disappointing.

For this time of year, the greens were in great shape on the Warrio course!

My best friend from Hawaii came in for Thanksgiving and we played a round of golf on a dark dank day! The perk of playing on a less than desirable day!

It was a good day of golf but super backed up due to only the patriot side was open for play. Ultimately it was a great day of golf.

Awesome day of golf . I played a round solo in 120 minutes. Not many people so I took advantage of the lack of golfers.

Awesome sunny day in December. Staff is super friendly and eager to help whenever called upon. Warrior is definitely my favorite course of the two..

Links at redstone arsenal is a great place for a quick round of golf.

It was a wonderful day in November, the sun was overhead and temperature was mid 60s with a cool breeze. The only variable that slowed down the pace of play were the leaves which staff worked diligently to clear from the course but everything else was perfect!
