Reviews
Great outing
The course is in excellent condition and the greens are super fast!
Absolutely Pathetic Staff
My 2 year old travels with us and absolutely loves golf. We take him to almost every course we go to and he loves to use his little clubs and hit the ball. As soon as we walked in you could tell the staff already had an extremely bad attitude. We checked in and he looked at my son and said “uh do you have someone to watch him?” I said “no he rides with me and just hits his little clubs”. I figured that would charge me for him and that would have been fine. He said “no children below 5.” I asked him for a reason and he struggled his shoulders and said it was “too dangerous”. When I was trying to figure out if I could switch my tee time so I could take him home he wouldn’t even look to see if they had other tee times. I understand rules are rules but it’s absolutely pathetic how little customer service this place has. Also this should be made aware while booking the course, I had to dig through there terms to find the “no kids above 5” clause. I will NOT be returning and I will make sure everyone knows customer service is pathetic as well.
Redstone Arsenal
Course was in great shape. The pace of play was normal without any bottlenecks.
Jim Griffith
We never got to play! The course was in a military base with no access to the public. I’m old but not stupid. When I booked on Golf Now there were no info or warnings the course was on a military base. I called the pro shop and they basically said too bad. What can you do for me?
Excellent
Great course. Very well kept. Everything was good.
Great - as always!
The greens are slow but clean and immaculate! No divots or weed! Well done!
The course was understandably wet, because of heavy gains and we were cart path only! No fun for this senior citizen! Otherwise, nice outing!
Spring Golf at Redstone Arsenal
This a nice links course, fun to play and in very good condition for Mid March. Greens and fairways were in good shape for spring.
Staff is very friendly and with the Proper VA Identification I had no problems entering the base.
course of play
course was ok... no water on course
pace of play was very slow - over 5 hours
Warning To Hot Deal Golfers
This is a heads up to anyone who’s booking this course on a hot deal. Their listing does not mention that you need a visitor’s pass to get onto the base that’s only available Monday through Friday, so if you show up on Saturday you’re completely out of luck. The golf course page has this note, but the hot deal listing and your email confirmation doesn’t make any mention of this. Do not book this course if you aren’t in town M-F to pick up the visitor pass.
Giving this a 5 Star to not hurt the courses score as this was a Golf Now issue.

Long course, not easy greens
Bring your ball-striking to the Warrior Course. The course feels like it plays a good 300 yards longer than what the card says. Expect allot of long iron play. You will need a short game to survive. The greens are grainy in the heat. They're far more fair and readable in sub 75° weather. Not many hazards to fear. Just allot of territory to cover.
Great shape but too much Cart Path Only
Enjoyed the round. The course is in great shape but there seemed to be a lot of unnecessary Cart Path Only holes.
