Course in good shape and layout gives you opportunities to practice course management

Everything in excellent condition. Pace was great.

The greens were in good shape and just needed a haircut and a roll badly! VERY SLOW putting especially after having just played Galen Hall the same day.

It was like putting on plush carpet.

Again, the course was in good shape. I got paired up with three older gentlemen and one was supremely annoying and another played very slowly so it drug out longer than it should which is not the courses’ fault at all.

The fairways were nice. Tee boxes are starting to wear in some spots earlier than expected. Still love the course and I just wish they did not have some of the slowest greens in the region. Cannot wait to get a lager draft there when this when we go green.

Played this course today for the 4th time since golf courses have opened up after COVID-19. First 3 times were great. Today was not like that. We teed off with no hiccup. Foursome each having our own cooler in our cart (same as the last 3 times we played it this month). After our tee shots, some guy (later found out to be the owner) ran us down from the clubhouse to tell us we had “too many coolers” and they needed to be checked. We obliged. The starter (who had no issue with us before this outburst) looked at 2 of our coolers. One containing waters and Gatorade and the other containing beer. We were told we had to go back to the parking lot AFTER WE TEED OFF ALREADY to put away “some of our beers”. We again agreed to their demands. As I drove past the clubhouse to the parking lot I asked the owner how many beers are allowed? He wouldn’t give me an answer. Then he told me I was holding everybody else up after again, he came storming out of the clubhouse after we already teed off. I asked when their bar was opening up so I could buy beer from him, again no answer. Guy couldn’t have cared less about us being his patrons. After we all go from the tee box back to the car and then back to the 1st fairway I say to him that I’ve never been made to go back to the parking lot in between my 1st and 2nd shots. 5 minutes go by and we all hit our 2nd shots. He comes flying down the fairway in his gator directly for my cart. He tells me then that he is the owner and that this is “his (expletive) house”. I said I just wanted some clarity on the rules of the course since the last 3 times we played here this was never an issue. He then tells me that the golf carts cost $8000 for some reason. Then he asks me if I’ve ever played Deer Valley because they don’t allow any alcohol at all. Again not sure why any of that was relevant. He might be on drugs but he definitely thinks he’s God. Go during the week when he’s not around.

course was in great shape.......other than the virus screwing things up could not have been better......did not play well but the course was just fine......and staff was very nice and affable.......will be back soon

The check in process was very smooth, staff managed the busy holiday well. Course was in great shape and had a good balance of tough shots and rewarding ones, Will be golfing here again. Thoroughly enjoyed playing.

Always like the course (since i'm not a long ball hitter) and a fast course to play usually. Today during the Covid scare was no differant. After being closed for appx 2 months, i assumed it'd be immaculate like 2 other local corses i played, but it was in what i call normal shape, no divots or ball make a plus. Everything needed cut so we had slow greens, but it did just rain before and its hard to cut all 3 portions in a day or two, so they get a pass on that. All in all we'll be back several more times this year since its has a variety of hole layouts and a good place to play.

2nd time playing here although I had played a couple of times 19 yrs ago...........everything was in nice shape and although the virus manages to screw up everything they did a good job of making it pleasant

In a difficult time financially this course has maintain its integrity and course conditions, as well as kept prices to a very affordable rate for anyone wishing a reprieve from state and national financial and social conditions. When this course could probably charge more, like other area courses, they have chosen to be accommodating and compassionate to those affected by the economic downturns. Owner is a stand up guy who believes in serving the community. Thank you!

Fairview is one of the nicest courses overall in this area.

You couldn't ask for more for March 1st. Course was in excellent condition.

We played at Fairview from 2010 through 2019. Personally, I have played at Fairview since 1970, off and on at various times including tournaments.

In all my years of golf, I never had an any Staff person ever treat me with total disrespect and accusations of missing a tee time. This course had me in the system with my group for tee times we never made. The staff member would not listen to what I had to say, offered no solutions, just banned us.

It is sad that a management team member of a fine golf course would accuse me and my group of missing tee times without proof. All the years from 2010 through 2019 I received confirmation emails of my tee times. I did in fact make 2 tee times in August, but never received any confirmations. I was accused of making 2 tee times in July 2020, but that is absolutely not true. I have communications to my group of players that all speak about getting tee times in August not July.

Another local golf course gave us tee times from April through July and when this issue happened with Fairview, the staff at the other course gave us 2 sets of tee times per week and met with me personally to insure they got all of our tee times correct. They thanked me for the business, but Fairview banned us. We spend an average of $600 per week from April through November, but Fairview banned us and has lost that revenue. I will never understand why this happened at Fairview and no one offered any solution to this problem. I have heard from other golfers they had similar issues.

Greens are in superb shape fairways need some work mostly because of no rain and the greens are probably the slowest ive ever been on

Tee boxes & greens good. Fairways need work. Ball cleaners good.
