This course is always in excellent condition! Would be nice if players would fix ball marks. So much easier for the grass to die when it is so cold.

Great Conditions in February
Have played multiple courses in January and February of 2023, and Fairview was in the best shape. The greens were perfect, and the fairways were nice. They have definitely been doing some off-season work maintaining the course.

This course has great features and some easy holes,
You can make birdies on this course. Holes are interesting with some easy par threes and at least 2 par fives that one could make birdie on.

Fall Golf
This course was beautiful with the foliage in color. Leaves were blown off the playing area, did not loose a ball do to the leaves. Greens were fast and fairways like carpet.

First time, Great time
I loved playing the course it has a variety of holes which kept me interested. Fairways were green and tees and greens were well kept.

One of the best public courses in Central PA
Fairview is a course that has been around a very long time and just keeps getting better with age. It's a great layout that gives golfers a lot of different challenges. But it is a place that high handicappers and newer golfers can enjoy as much as single-digit handicappers.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. The pace of play is excellent. The course is kept in great condition, and the recent removal of dozens of trees has made it a little more forgiving and enjoyable. I play this course a lot as it is one of my two favorite courses in Central PA. Highly recommend!
