Dumas Memorial Golf Course

Everyone was friendly and helpful but the course was in terrible shape the greens were very bad we wouldn’t go back for awhile

Played a good round of golf with a friend. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed it. The greens seem to be getting better and looks like BREC is trying to make them better. Canadian Geese are pooping all over some of the greens on the back nine so watch your step! Overall, nice place to not be rushed and enjoy a good round of golf.

The back nine was closed and was not made aware of this at time of booking. They were doing maintenance on the greens and the front nine was closed the day before. Love the layout of the course but was disappointed that half of the course was closed.

Overall the course was okay at best. Greens were in terrible condition. Fairways were high. Just didn’t seem to be taken care of recently. Not sure if I’ll be back anytime soon.

The ground was very dry all around the course, but even by the greens. I could hear the ball click on the ground after shots. There are small tufts of grass on the green that cause the ball to shift direction. I felt as though I was putting on concrete with pebbles every so often.

Staff was friendly. Course was in very rough shape, mainly do to the recent rains. Several holes were essentially unplayable. Greens were in pretty good shape, except for the numerous unreapaired ball marks. Could be a decent course if it dried out and maintenance could be done.

First off thanks to the wife for letting me sneak away for this round. Dumas on the whole looked good and some of the greens were in very good shape. I was impressed with how it looks compared to earlier in the year.

Course is badly manicured. There is zero good grass to hit from. Greens are small and not well kept. Sand traps look like mud holes or swamps. Zero rain for 4 days, but course was very wet. Not recommended to anyone looking for an enjoyable golf round.

Really enjoyed playing Dumas, it is an older course but in decent shape. The fairways were generally good.

There are some challenging shots, especially if this is the first time playing this course.

The greens are small and elevated, a real challenge for approach shots.

Greens are really slow, but most were in good shape. Would play again if in the area.

Greens were in good shape, but the fairways could stand to be mowed more frequently. Staff was as friendly as you could ever ask.

Fun little public course. Elevated greens make chipping challenging greens slow need some work. Awesome burger inside, great staff, and cold beer!
