Disappointed Duo
There seems to be an over booking of golfers which slows down the pace of play. Zero marshall enforcement and oversight of pace of play and golf etiquette. Greens are in poor shape. City Park has new carts, they are a BREC facility too, why not WEBB?
Improving Greens
Noticeable improvement in greens from this past spring.Still some work to be done but getting better each round played.
So sad
One would think that because there are only 4 public courses in and around the Baton Rouge area that some emphasis would be placed on their condition.
The greens, tee boxes and fairways are simply embarrassing.
C’mon man!
So sad
There aren’t but a few courses to play in Baton Rouge so on would think that the powers that be would invest a bit of money to ensure that they are at least decent.
Just terrible!
A little rough
Greens are in worse condition than usual. The rest of the course is in normal Webb shape.
Good course
Honestly, course is in great condition! Pace was slow, but still enjoyed the round
Slow playing people. Bad greens right now
Not a bad course at all, but the greens are really bad right now. The pace of play was so slow because there was everyone and their mother there.
This course is normally good
Greens have taken a beating; probably from the heat
Poor Greens
I love playing this course, sadly during summer 2023 the greens have gotten into poor condition. I will not play again until they improve.
Bad Greens
I have played Webb plenty over the years earlier in the year the greens were really decent unfortunately they are horrendous right now obviously Brec has decided not to spend any money there no excuse in my opinion and embarrassing for Baton Rouge.
Big Change
The course is as expected- great for 1st timers. Greens are very worn and patchy due to a fungus growth they seem to be experiencing. Biggest thing is the “NO ALCOHOL” allowed on the course…so if you enjoy a cold brew after a birdie go elsewhere…
Good BREC Course
Webb has always been a fun course to play. I have not played it since last summer. The greens were in rough shape, but the rest of the course was good.
Pacing
Pretty decent value, pacing is terrible when allowing groups of 5 or walking 4somes.
