Booking Problem
I booked a tee time for two golfers and when we arrived at the course, the pro shop told us that they had a tournament scheduled and we could not play. The charge on my debit card is showing as pending....will I be charged for the two tee times even though we were not able to play? Why is it impossible to actually talk with someone at GolfNow about a problem???
Much better shape
I played this course few months ago and it was in BAD shape. Told
My golfing buds wasn’t going to play it ever again. Well I did, and I’m glad I did. Congrats on course conditions. So much improvement. Will keep playing it more often now.
Twice in one week
Course has a little way to go but a good layout decent greens and fun had by all! Can confidently recommend playing here!
Looking Up
New owners and course is looking better! Pop on the greens but they putted pretty well! Better than a couple of months ago! Praying they keep it up!
Awesome
Great coarse, under new management, greens and fairways beautiful. Didn’t have to rush play, will definitely play again
Overall amazing course
My biggest issue was with the bad cart paths, as well as the lack of direction for where the next hole was. There were times I would get lost trying to figure out where the next hole was. Ireally enjoyed how the course played, overall it was awesome for the $22 deal I got!
Great things to come.
Under new ownership. Hearing good things for the future. All of the course has been over seeded, but in great shape for this time of year.
The Lafayette area's best value, Joe Lee Design!
As a long time resident of the Palm Beach County area I had the opportunity to play many courses by golfs best architects. What many do not know is that famed golf course architect Joe Lee designed this South Louisiana gem.
Joe Lee designed many famed courses that served as longtime venues for PGA Tour events -- LaCosta in Carlsbad, Calif., The Blue Monster at Doral, Cog Hill in the suburbs of Chicago, Warwick Hills in suburban Detroit, and Bay Hill, the central Florida course that Arnold Palmer was so enamored with that he bought it in 1976 to name a few.
In addition, a big time club entrance way and feel, Squirrel Run is a true South Louisiana gem and talks of a deer range to add more nature are in the works.
Family outing with beginners
Course under new management
Greens and fairways overseesde
Filling in nicely. Rough brutal due to big rain on Wednesday !
Fun day
This course is a good test of golf
I enjoy playing here! The tee boxes are great, the fairways and greens in good condition. The rough needs to be more uniform
Another great day at Squirrel Run
The course was in good shape and there is more work going on to make it even better. I hadn't had the opportunity to play the course in a few years, but it was good to see the familiar surroundings. The greens were well kept and rolled true. The staff was very attentive and accommodating and the pace of play was perfect. I am looking forward to my next visit.
Great course layout
Our group really enjoyed playing Squirrel Run. The course was in fairly good condition and the greens rolled the ball very well. All in all, great course layout and a good test.
Confusing
Layout is confusing. Not really any signs pointing you in the right direction for the next hole. The grass has not been cut for a while. So if we didn’t keep the ball in the fairway kiss that ball goodbye. We lost at least a dozen golf balls due to long grass. The greens are in great shape.
