Wedgewood Golf Course

The staff in the clubhouse is friendly but on the course it is a different story. Mowers do not give you any courtesy when you tee off or are putting. Our foursome got stuck behind a fivesome who played from the back tees ( which they are not ready for). We complained to a pass by ranger who said he will stop by them later and ask them to speed up a bit. He came back on the 17th hole to let us know there is nothing he can do because it is too late in the round. He also commented on how difficult it is to persuade Democrats? We love the course but it should not take 5 hrs to play a round of golf.

I enjoyed the round. Staff was courteous and efficient. The course is in very good shape. It is tight but provides reasonable fairway widths if you can control your ball off the tee. Even though the round seemed to be slow, I finished in right at 4 hours to the minute.

This course is very well maintained and in great condition. The greens are in great shape, and fast! Be prepared for some tricky putts, but that's some of the fun. Some very tough holes, as well as a couple that aren't terribly hard, but nothing too easy. Well places water and sand traps. The only thing I would have to say is the sand traps aren't in as great of condition as I would like, but still, that's just nit picking. Very enjoyable course, and great staff. Highly recommend!

for the amount of money spent i don't think you could find a better course in the greater memphis area. great scenery, some holes are difficult but also some easier ones to balance it out. great test for a good price.

I really like this golf course its fun and challenging. I like the character of the course,the par 3's are tough and the par 4's look easy but play much tougher than you think and the par 5's give you a chance to birdie. The staff is professional and friendly.

Price was great , very easy , Got to course and already was paid for , everything went smoothly .

Everything was great with the exception of 2 twosomes with kids under probably 10 that may have never played before. I am all for kids learning to play but on a Sunday.may be a while before I go back.

A pleasant surprise, especially for the price! Course has varying challenges and nice layout.

Course is well maintained but cart paths need attention.

Lack of control of tee times and groups of players and managing flow of play; allowed fivesome and sixsome to play in front of us. the sixsome eventually turned into eightsome --call in while on course to complain, the excuse given was that they were friends of the general manager of the club. Also, these groups litter the course with beer cans and trash, and had no respect for where drove their golf carts.

The pace of play was surprisingly slow for a Monday due to a large number of golfers on the course. You just can't go any faster than the slowest group on the course. The course was very nice and would have been more enjoyable with faster play. I would recommend the course to anyone interested in trying a new course. You never know, it could become your favorite course. It was that good.

I play this course numerous times a year it gets better each time I play the staff is extra friendly.best course for the value thanks to golfNow.

One of the best daily fee couses in this area. The course is in excellent shape for this time of year. Demanding course but playable

We paid 37.00 and for that price it's a nice course. Staff was friendly and pace of play was good. Narrow fairways demand a good tee shot. Greens were in good condition. Overall good course for the money

The weather conditions definitely came into play on the day we played this course, the course is challenging enough but 15mph winds maid things very tough. There are many holes that favor a right hand fade and lots of water which also complicates things for my game. Most of the greens are turtle back which requires you to land the ball soft to be able to putt and very hard greens did not help either. There are large ditches that also run the length of many fairways which detracts from the overall look and play of the course. All in all I might consider coming back but not at the top of my favorites list.

Played in March so the grass was dead, so the ball didn't roll much. Weather was great, in the sixtys so course was crowded and play was slow.

Visited course on a cold day, high 49 degrees. Lots of wind. Brown fairways and painted greens, but to be expected this time of year. Driving range nice but right next to first tee, so any tee shot left, very difficult finding your ball. Sand traps were difficult but the sand was very nice to hit out of. Was a very windy day and there is trouble to be found if you don't hit it straight. Could imagine how pretty the course would be when the fairways are green! A good experience all around
