The course is great. Probably the best greens you'll putt on when playing a public course. However, you forget the great greens when you get stuck behind the groups of 5. I always get behind them & when I call to complain the response is "there's nothing they can do." My round turns into 4:40. I don't go back.

Awesome course!! Watch out for the kudzoo on #2!! Sand traps could be a little more dandy, greens are awesome! Hit good shots, get rewarded!!

Nice course but horrendously slow
Fun course, but not so fun to play because it was either too congested or pace of play was not actively managed by a course staff/Marshall. Pace was horrendously slow.

Great course just south of Memphis.
The course was in great shape today. I have read previous problems of pace of play and I was very pleased with the staff at Wedgewood. The Marshall calling names and pairing people as well as reminding everyone the pace of play helped things flow. The weather was great and helped make the day even more enjoyable. Bring your putting A game because the greens are firm and fast.

Nice Layout
I played from the back tees and found it to be a challenging layout. Demanding tee shots and difficult par 3's. I thought the greens were in good shape and rolled true. However, the cups looked as if they had not been changed in quite a while. The edges on most were very jagged. Also, the bunkers were terrible. I think part of that problem is that the rakes are cheap and do not do a very good job of raking the sand. Therefore, nobody seems to rake them. Overall, a good layout that I will play again.

Good value.
Low price when Hot Deal is available.
Greens roll nicely. Good variety of shots if not playing front tees. Fairways are generous with limits that can be penal.
I will go back and play Wedgewood again.

Fun but challenging course
Overall the course is in great shape. The challenge at this course is not the distance, it's how narrow some of the holes are. If you have a hard time keeping it straight off the tee you might find yourself losing several balls at this course. I found the greens to be faster than what I'm used to and it took me a few puts to figure out the speed. Overall a good course and I would definitely play again.

Best public course in the area
This course is in excellent condition. The greens are very fast and true. The course overall is extremely challenging. You will use every club in your bag. Not for the beginner.

Great course conditions
Some of the fairways are fairly narrow fairways so it makes it kind of a challenge, but the grounds are always in great condition. This is my favorite course in the Memphis area, and you can't beat the $10 hot deal. The greens can be a bit fast on a dry day, but they're cut well.

Good coarse
The coarse was in great shape. The greens are championship Bermuda and were really fast! Most of the bunkers were kept up too. I look forward to playing there again.

Pace Uncontrolled
This round took over five hours, not even including the twenty minutes late that we had to tee off because everything was backed up. For a course that once touted a strict pace of play, this was embarrassing. I love being out on the course as much as anyone, but I don't like sitting around waiting five minutes between every shot. I spotted a marshal driving around, but I'm not sure exactly what he was doing, because if anything, the pace got slower throughout the day. Hopefully this was just a one-time thing, as I really haven't had this problem here before... but if this continues, I'll be avoiding Wedgewood. All that being said, the course, particularly the greens, was in very good shape.

Definitely Beautiful
Ended up only playing 9 because of pace of play, partly due to the twosome I was partnered up with. Course was in GREAT shape, everything looked wonderful. Greens were very well kept, played very fast though. Overall I was quite impressed and would definitely go back.

Starters
We were there 1.5 hours early & noticed the course was not crowded but when our tee time was up they sent 4-5- groups out back to back, THEY NEED A STARTER to get these groups out when they arrive & ready instead of stacking up like this, extremely slow play!!!

Wedgewood Mothers Day 2015
The course was in good shape despite the previous nights rain. The fairways were good, though a little damp. There were areas that were soggy. There could be better drainage considering there are several large ravines that run through the course. The greens were outstatnding. The pace of play was good. The staff was very freindly, and overall I was pleased with the experience.
