Pass Christian Isles Golf Club
About
One of the oldest golf courses on the Gulf Coast, the Pass Christian Isles Golf Club is known for having very small greens, as were most courses designed in the early 1900s. It also has tree-lined fairways and strategically positioned water hazards. Water comes into play on six of the holes, which adds to the beauty of the layout.
Originally designed by Tom Bendelow in 1914, Pass Christian Isles Golf Club has undergone two major renovations (when it re-opened in 1952 and again in 2004), with painstaking efforts made to retain its turn-of-the-century charm. The 18-hole, par-72 course, measures 6,396 yards from the longest tees. The course rating is 70.1, with a slope rating of 124.
The golf course is rated one of the top 10 courses in South Mississippi. The 18th hole has been ranked one of the hardest holes in the state as well as the state's hardest finishing hole.

Good course for the cost!
Hot deal availability made this an easy course to choose.
The staff was welcoming. The carts were in excellent condition.
Fairways were in good shape. Rough was well maintained.
Greens were a little rough but since Maria just passed a couple of weeks ago, i’ll give a pass.
I was disappointed that there was no hot food served except on weekends.
Course much improved, problems on 2 or 3 greens. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Play in large group 30 to 40 players lots of fun.
Enjoyable round of golf; fairways and rough were in excellent condition. Greens were all right, some were in the midst of repair but were pretty good considering that fact.
Hurricane evacuation golf.
Evacuated to the area from Florida. Got on GolfNow and found $12.00 round for this course. Assumed the worst, much better than expected especially for $12.00+fees. BTW the price included the cart.
Course has greatly improved over summer. Especially in view of limited funds available .
Course superintendent is doing a good job with what he has to work with . Greens will be significant improves by november.
Going in Right Direction
Tees are rough, unequal and pitted. Need to be punched, leveled, filled, and top dressed.
Fairways are OK, rough is thick in spots requires golfers to pay attention to errant shots.
No cart services or water stations on course. The ONLY two are on holes 7 and 15 they're water fountains next to toilets.
Greens are bad in patches, overall 4-5/10 scale.
Staff is awesome, very nice and willing to please.
Worst course ever!
Hardly any maintenance on this course. Most of the lumpy greens are showing 30+% of hard bare ground surface. Don't waste your time or money even if it's "dirt cheap".
Good little course for cheap
I am a golfer making a non golfers salary, so I like the affordability of this course. They were doing some work on the greens on a couple of holes. It was kinda bad placement for the, I hope, temporary new greens. Other than that it was just as usual. Not the best course on the cost, but for the price you can't beat it.
Course on comeback trail.
Tees and greens and in the midst of much needed repair. Still a long way for full recovery.
Very nice clubhouse and friendly staff.
Will play again and recommend.
Pass Christian Isles
The front 9 was closed for green airation. That's of course a necessary thing to do but I booked the round without being alerted about it. That sort of information should be available before you book a Tee Time with Gold Now.
Front Nine closed yet was not informed at the time of booking
Fropnt nine closed yet paid to play 18. I would not have booked this outing should I have known that there was to be only 9 holes ready for play
decent course for the money, fairly easy playing the fairways, several greens spotty, though
Greens gone
We played 18 under 3 hours so the pace was great but they have about lost the greens. They were horrible. If you are a local like me. A better bag for your buck would be get the card at the oaks. Green fees are just $2 more and you get a great course.
Enjoyed Golfing Here
I really enjoyed this course. The fairways are wide which is great for me since I've only been golfing for a year. The greens and fairways are in good condition. The staff was friendly. You can't beat the price! I'm from Iowa and I will golf here several more times before I go back home.
Almost five stars
Had it not been for some large dead spots on several greens I would give the course five stars.
Course was dry, mowed everywhere, pace of play was great, we played in 3.5 hours.
Great value, I look forward to our next round there.
My father and I used to play this course a lot years ago. Glad it came back after the hurricane. Hope to play it again for old times sake.
