Pass Christian Isles Golf Club
About
One of the oldest golf courses on the Gulf Coast, the Pass Christian Isles Golf Club is known for having very small greens, as were most courses designed in the early 1900s. It also has tree-lined fairways and strategically positioned water hazards. Water comes into play on six of the holes, which adds to the beauty of the layout.
Originally designed by Tom Bendelow in 1914, Pass Christian Isles Golf Club has undergone two major renovations (when it re-opened in 1952 and again in 2004), with painstaking efforts made to retain its turn-of-the-century charm. The 18-hole, par-72 course, measures 6,396 yards from the longest tees. The course rating is 70.1, with a slope rating of 124.
The golf course is rated one of the top 10 courses in South Mississippi. The 18th hole has been ranked one of the hardest holes in the state as well as the state's hardest finishing hole.

Cheap round but cow pasture
HOT Deal on Golf Now so I grabbed it.
Very difficult to find club house. Address on web site wrong. Entry to club house on the road blocked. Winding trip to find the "new" entry.
Course is a cow pasture. In bad need of maintenance from t-boxes to fairways to greens. Several greens losing grass from disease / rot. Like putting on dirt / concrete.
Lay-out is basically up and down. Not a single creative hole in the entire 18. Water comes into play on a couple holes ... sorta....
For $12 I guess you get what you pay for but some other Hot Deals on other MS courses provided excellent value and lots of fun golf. Not so with this track. Won't be back if the Hot Deal is FREE...
Not so hot
Average or below average course
this course has a lot of potential
most of the greens have "blight" but it has to do with the weather conditions we've had in the last few months. things look like they are improving. the course is still nice to play and the members and staff are very nice.
Once was one time too many.
First off all, had a difficult time getting to the clubhouse, as road per GPS was blocked off. Had to call clubhouse for alternate direction. The course layout is boring and no appealing landscaping. Fairways and greens in awful shape. Women's bathroom on the course was disgusting. Saw two employees riding around in golf cart, but not doing any work. Played a better course in the area for less $$$.
Nice time
Nice greens, but slow
Nice #7, an over the water par 3
Enjoyed, has a very nice clubhouse and bar
1-2 blocks from the bay
Great price
Played for $13.50 with a cart. Pretty nice greens just small. Course is challenging enough from the Tips. Fairways could be nicer. Overall very pleased considering the price.
Good Course
Fairways were wide. Greens were a little slow but it rain the day before. Some of greens were little burnt but they were playable. Overall I thought the course played good being the first time playing it.
Great Course for the Money!!!
This was a fun course to play. We played in the winter, so the course was in winter shape. The ground and tee boxes were very hard and really could use some water. The greens were excellent on the day I played. The hospitality was excellent, pace was great, an enjoyable day. For the money, you can't beat it! Enjoy!!
visiting
Nice course greens a little rough but playable. They requested to keep my DL for cart use which was uncomfortable, made even worst when I returned the cart key to get it back and it could not be found right away as it had been misplaced. They should review this process as I have never done this before and will not play there again because of it.
Too bad
Decent enough of a layout and a fun play except for the poor course condition. Needs mowing and much more attentive care.
Value on deep discount T times
Fairways sand Tee Boxes were very dry with limited irrigation. Mower problems contribited to poor course conditions however, greens were lush but had a few areas that need attention (hole location avoided thes areas). Discounted T-Time of $25 for two players made the round more appropriately priced. Doubt I would pay much more to play here.
Ok for price
Course is ok for price. No cart girl service and only one water station on whole course.
Great Value
If you don't expect the Grand Bear then you will have a good day like I did. I have played courses that are not with it for any price but this is not one of them.
Golf at PCI
Greens were good. Fairways were ok. Rough needed to be cut bad. Weeds everywhere. Great value however.
hard to find
Strange pro-shop set up, no signage, pro-shop on the second floor. Had to turn in drivers license to get a card. Course was reasonable but could use some TLC. Lovely squirrel statue on the 18th
