Sunday Morning Tee Time.
This is not my first time play here. Other times, before the city took over, the members really made this a miserable course to play. I went out one day as a single and it took me 6 hours to play 18 holes. Morning groups went out and would not let me play through.
So, a Sunday morning tee time had me concerned. Showed up at 7:45 for an 8:10. The young woman in the Pro Shop was super welcoming, helpful, and nice! The starter was the same way! We teed off right on time, as a foursome, and finished in 4.5 hours. I couldn’t believe it. Pace of play stayed pretty regular all morning. I believe the presence of the Marshal helped.
My only negative comment, there is not a bev cart on this course.
Course Player Respect
Greens were a little rough after being punched and sanded. Fairways are in very good shape. Slow play was again noted with little attention by course marshals. Also sad to see just how many fairway divots and ball marks on the greens went unrepaired. Otherwise, the day went well.
Continuing Saga
Albeit there are marshals on the course, there is still a lot of slow play. Otherwise, the course is in good shape and playable.

It was the first time for my husband, my son, and me at the Sierra Vista Golf Course. Jerry, the starter at the Sierra Vista golf center at Pueblo del sol Del, welcomed us with a big, beautiful smile and amusing jokes that immediately put us at ease. I want to thank him for that! We enjoyed three straight days of golfing.
Great Golf
Firs time playing this course in Sierra Vista and it was very pleasant surprise!
The course was in magnificent shape and the greens were some of the best I've played.
Making it even more special was the professional and friendly staff. They actually had a Course Marshal that did his job!! Pace of play was great and when we ran into a 3-some of new golfers, the Marshal had them let us play thru with minimal problems.
The price was also fantastic! $60 for all the golf you wanted to play AND an exceptional lunch at the club house.

I've played this course a few times now, however this time I had a 12:00 tee time.
The course didn't have any carts for my group.
we ended up waiting 45-60 minutes for a cart.
It did not seem like the course had much concern for the 10 or so people also waiting for a cart. Perhaps they will figure this occurrence and have the resources to accommodate the later in day groups.
Great place with amazing views of the mountains
Pueblo del sol is a great place to golf while in Sierra Vista. Newer carts, great layout, and friendly staff. The golf course cuts through a neighborhood so watch out for houses.
