new mgmnt
I've played this course a few times now, however this time I had a 12:00 tee time.
The course didn't have any carts for my group.
we ended up waiting 45-60 minutes for a cart.
It did not seem like the course had much concern for the 10 or so people also waiting for a cart. Perhaps they will figure this occurrence and have the resources to accommodate the later in day groups.
Great place with amazing views of the mountains
Pueblo del sol is a great place to golf while in Sierra Vista. Newer carts, great layout, and friendly staff. The golf course cuts through a neighborhood so watch out for houses.
Beautiful greens!!
The c p urse was alot of fun, it's in really good shape. The greens are absolutely beautiful. W
New Start
Wow! Really impressed. Course changed hands over the summer. New enthusiasm, great feeling. Course was in as good of condition as I’ve ever seen it. Staff happy with the changes and it shows. Well worth the drive, especially during our overseed. It was about 8-10 degrees cooler, and they do not overseed. Course is green, fairly lush, even rough filling in. Restaurant still a great deal. Will definitely go back soon!
Great Southern Arizona Course!
Where to start...
1. Awesome Weather
2. Great Layout
3. One of Few..Best Greens in Southern Arizona
4. Great Fairways
5. All of it..
Highly recommend the course.. Recently bought by new owbership.. hopefully they keep the course as well as it is..
Ongoing Challenge
Fairways and greens in very good condition, but fairways seemed wet resulting in very little roll out on drives and longer iron shots. Tee boxes in average condition. Pace of play was good but seemed to be a result of less play.
Major question remains about what transition is the course going to see as a result of the sale of course to the City of Sierra Vista, and subsequent management by Paradigm. Time will only tell..
GREAT DAY AT PUEBLO DEL SOL
WEATHER WAS PERFECT TEED OF AT NOON MINIMAL WIND AND 88 DEGREES. PROBABLY 10 DEGREES COOLER THAN TUCSON. STAFF WAS GREAT AND INFORMATIVE. NO PACE OF PLY ISSUES. VERY FAST GREENS, SO PUTT LITELY LOL.
OVERALL A GREAT ROUND.
EZ friendly place
Met some ez going golfers
Made the round go smoothly
Much better than my Sunday round
The PDS STAFF VERY GOOD
Great place to play
Had not played this course in 9 years after playing it for 35 years
Now that it’s a city course I gave it another try
Great greens always were the best
Fairways also great
Rough needs a mowing
Only played 14 holes
So glad SV now has ownership
Staff and everyone working there were great
Go play
Great Day at PDS
Always enjoy playing here. Course in very good shape. Greens were excellent. Nice to putt bent grass vs gnarly Bermuda. Seems to have been a smooth transition from Private to public. Hope the city can keep it in it's current condition.
Great Course & Customer Service
Course was in great shape and has a fun layout as well. Staff went above & beyond for us, specifically Jake in the pro shop. Coming from out of state we needed rental clubs, however a group in front of us was using all the righty sets they had. Jake personally let us use his golf clubs to make sure we could get out there and play. Remarkable service
Ownership Changing
Overall course is good to play as most shots necessary are pretty straight forward. Big question now is what happens to the course and facilities since ownership changed on Sept. 6th. Concurrently tee prices do not appear actively competitive with other courses in Tucson area.
So, so
This golf course is simply watered TOO MUCH! Everything is always so wet and not fun to play when its that wet. The bunkers are like concrete and other than gorgeous greens not very challenging. It has only a few trees and seems to cater to the older crowd which doesn't like trees on the most difficult holes. Put the lake back in on #6, making this much more difficult and challenging. Most courses don't allow folks to go out as 2 somes, singles. Needs more action. Too many novice golfers on the course tearing up the fairways and appear to be playing from the wrong tees for their skill levels. These are all related to bad management issues.
