Very private gem
They don't build them like this anymore! I had the pleasure of playing Kittanset as our home course in high school. The place is ultra private and the staff treated us that way.
The course is really great. The third hole is probably the coolest par 3 in the US. It is right on the beach. When the tide is in it's an island green. When it goes out you play the beach like a waste area sand trap and this course was built in the 1910s!
The rest of the course layout is a great mix of holes. The course is not long but the wind is what protects it. One of my best golf moments occurred with a hole in one on the eight hole. If you ever get the chance to play it you should jump!
