Golfer Reviews
Enjoy the layout
A lot of work is being done which is great. The fairways are good. Some of the greens are a little rough, but I am confident they will improve as the season progresses. I played in the afternoon and by No.7 groups were stacked up. It took 4.5 hours to play 18. They should consider a course Marshall to guide the pace which includes letting faster groups play through sow groups.
Looking Better
I last played here in Summer 2023. They have done a lot of work on the course. Reworking the sand traps from depth, drainage, and size. The greens are very true rolling. There is a lot of cleanup around the boarder of the course which gives a nice look. I will be playing here more in 2025.
Looking Good
Have played Copper Mill many times over the years. Really appreciate all the work they’ve done out there. Super fast greens, but fair. They’ve really stepped up their game with the customer service, amenities and course improvements. Keep up the good work.
Really nice
The course is very well kept. Great staff from the pro shop to the restaurant.
Greens and tee boxes are very nice. I enjoyed it!
Fun layout
This course has one of my favorite layouts I’ve ever played! With 6 holes of each par, there are ample scoring opportunities. The links style layout mixed with open fairways prompts you to be aggressive, but I can assure you not every hole is easy. With a mixture of drivable holes and over 600 yard par 5’s, this course is very enjoyable. The greens were renovated almost two years ago, so while they are not super receptive yet, the greens roll very well. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to play a fun, challenging, and non traditional layout
Overall Great Course
Poured rain a few days before we came, so the course was pretty damp. However, I could tell how nice the course would be in mint condition. Definitely would come back!
Copper Mill sets a gold standard
The course is fantastic. They updated the course in 2023 amidst a terrible drought, but it looks immaculate this year. I’m only surprised they weren’t able to squeeze in a driving range over 115 yards in the redesign, so you best get your driving warm ups done without striking a ball. You have more than enough space to warm up your short game. I look forward to many more rounds at this course.
This course has great friendly and kind services
Was extremely amazing my grandson and I enjoyed very much
thank you
Fun course
Always enjoy playing this course just wish they had a full size driving range
So much better
I haven’t played here in a few years since I heard they were re doing the greens. The course is in fantastic shape. Kudos to the ownership team for all of the improvements. Love the new GPS carts as well!
Excellent round
Management group doing an excellent job making the golf much better than the last few years. Practice area, putting area, help a lot. Carts are excellent with GPS, as well complimentary bottles of water. This group cares a lot and it shows.
Going to be Better
The fairways are in very good shape. Closely mown and well maintained. Tees are fine. Greens appear to be young but are pretty good overall. No dirt areas and well mowed. They held fine and putted well. Got an occasional weird kick is all.
Staff was excellent on all counts. Pace of play was extremely slow even though a Marshall kept trying to speed things up. I’m not sure about the $75 price tag for the current course but it will be able to command that once the greens mature.
Wet but Good
We went and played an actual golf course after playing cheap 9holes for awhile. Unfortunately it rained the day before and kind of ruined things. All the sand bunkers were either rock solid or full of water. Only complaint. Overall the course was beautiful and played really nice. Definitely want to go back again without the rain
Winter Time Greens
Enjoyed round, due to winter the greens wasn't in the best shape but layout and staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely plan on going for another round during the spring-summer.
