Course in excellent shape

Pace of play was incredible

First of all the marketing for this course was great but when I arrived I was shocked at the condition. There was high grass everywhere. The course was very hard to read. There were no visible fairway indicators. If you have never played the course before there was no way to determine where the pin was. The lay out was very confusing. I personally will not play this course again.

Definitely a nice layout. Four set of tees for every level. Was disappointed in a couple areas especially traps which looked like it had been a while since they've been raked. I know it has been dry, but such a nice course could easily be watering a least the tee boxes which for the most part were all chopped up. Greens, however, we in fairly good condition throughout.

Nice clubhouse attendant switched out my cart and brought out a working one and got me pointed to the 1st tee. Would recommend overall

All in all I will be back to play this course. Course was super wet and cart path only so it was hard to judge the overall play and feel for the course. Not sure if there is a drainage issue or not. I live 1.5 hours away but was under the impression there was no rain in the last few days. Could be wrong though. Greens were in good condition and had good roll. Bit of confusion with players starting on the back in the morning and causing congestion by our 10:16 Tee time.

Good layout but unkept. Common Bermuda on most greens in spots and greens ridiculously slow.

On the TeeOff app I paid 42.00 bucks for me and a friend. Your not gonna find a Better course in Louisiana for 2 green fees !!

There was no starter or course marshals and it was chaotic. Almost to the point of being disrespectful. Extremely slow and 98 degree heat.

Greens are much better than earlier in the year but are very slow. I’m encouraged in that it appears work is being done to make repairs to areas throughout the course. I was disappointed when the practice range was eliminated. It would be nice to at least have a place to warm up and hit balls into a net similar to Webb Park.

Course in pretty good condition. Played from black tees for first time in a couple of years. Had a good round.

Practice green needs some work. Several little

piles of dirt from bugs.

Rough had some tall grass in spotty areas.

Greens were better than what I was anticipating based on other reviews and local feedback. They were a little slower than they looked but overall fair.

I was visiting Louisiana and found this course on Golf Now. Great Recommendation and a lot of fun. The greens where slow, and the fairways where wide. Everyone was pleasant and I will be back if I revisit Baton Rouge. Thank you.

All the other course in th area was cart path only, this one was 90 degrees on every ho hole. Made for a great round.

Great course layout. Hit it to the correct spots and you can score. Miss your spots and you will be scrambling to save bogey. Had to hit every one of my clubs. Loved it.

Last played CM in April. Greens were in really bad shape. Greens are very much improved. They are slow but roll true. I also noticed other areas of the course undergoing maintenance and improvement. It would be nice if a few breakfast items were offered like biscuits and bagels. It would also be nice to have a beverage cart on the course.

Got word from the clubhouse beforehand that their greens mower is currently out of service so the greens were to be longer than usually kept. This presented its own challenge on the course during the round but was not in a condition I would consider unplayable. Slow yes, but manageable. If you find yourself in one of the many bunkers there, make sure and assess your lie accordingly. The two green side bunkers I found one left me with an unplayable lie and the other was just fine. Very unique layout, offers relief from the classic grip and rip style courses in the area. Fairways are generous on some holes and others are fairly narrow and challenging. Don’t expect to find a ball hit in the this overgrown rough outside the general playing areas. While these areas are not out of bounds on most holes, you may have trouble locating your ball none the less. All in all, will definitely get back there and try and beat my previous score under the current conditions. Beautiful layout, friendly staff, great pace of play never once felt rushed or intruding on others in front of us. When the greens are this long, you can be more aggressive around the greens for sure.
