About
Crotched Mountain Golf Club is a classic Donald Ross design set against a beautiful New England backdrop in the rolling hills of New Hampshire. The course is situated at the base of a mountain, offering beautiful views of the surrounding Monadnock region. This peacefully secluded spot is breathtaking in the fall when the leaves are changing. The golf course has many unique holes that will test your skill with a variety of different shots. Mature trees line the narrow fairways and there are strategically placed bunkers flanking the greens. You will also come across the occasional water hazard. There are some challenging holes but Crotched Mountain Golf Club is a fair and playable round that will appeal to a wide range of skill levels. The practice facility at Crotched Mountain includes a driving range and two different putting greens, including one with a sand bunker for chipping practice.

Solid day
The course let 6 inexperienced players out on the course in one group and it slowed the pace of play greatly.. it was otherwise a good day..

Hilly but fun
The course is very hilly, but fairways are in great condition. Greens are good although a little slow. Scenic views are great.

Challenging course
This course is up in the hills by the ski resorts, so there are many uphill and downhill holes with blind tee shots. You really need to be careful about club selection with the steep hills. The fairways were lush and the greens were very receptive. Overall it was a very nice course! Very quick pace of play during the week.
I got my first ace on #3 which plays 40 feet uphill. Unfortunately I couldn’t see it go in the hole. I was initially disappointed I couldn’t find my ball, but when I finally looked in the hole, I was overjoyed!
The driving range is small and fairly tore up. Per their rules, You can only hit irons and hybrids on the range because it’s only about 150-200 yards long.
The pro shop is tiny with very limited food and drink options. I believe there is a bigger facility attached to the pro shop but I didn’t go in there.

Love this course.
I play this course about once a month and it's fantastic with stunning views as a bonus. Course is always in great condition and the guys that work in the pro shop are always friendly. Green fees are cheap which is also a good thing although not why I play there it's because I like the course.

Condition
Course was in very good condition and was an exceptional value. Dan and his staff know what a golf course should look like. Nicely defined fairways and rough with a new tightly cut approach. Greens where good... I'm not saying this is Augusta but he's really working with what he has here. Enjoy, I know you will.

Great Greens - Poor Tee Boxes
I like playing here with my wife. It's not crowded mid-week and we aren't usually seeing other groups.
Super greens. Fairways mostly great, too.
Many of the tee boxes were pretty beat up and some had undulations or were just not level. Bring your own water.
Overall, it's good value when using a "hot deal" and is located in a beautiful mountain setting.

Good course, poor tee boxes
I try not to complain but I played on July 4th and the tee boxes were in horrendous shape. There were multiple holes where I had to hit in front of the markers. They must not have moved them in at least a few days which you’d think they’d make of point of that when people are coming from out of town on the holiday. Course was overall fun with good views.
