About
Crotched Mountain Golf Club is a classic Donald Ross design set against a beautiful New England backdrop in the rolling hills of New Hampshire. The course is situated at the base of a mountain, offering beautiful views of the surrounding Monadnock region. This peacefully secluded spot is breathtaking in the fall when the leaves are changing. The golf course has many unique holes that will test your skill with a variety of different shots. Mature trees line the narrow fairways and there are strategically placed bunkers flanking the greens. You will also come across the occasional water hazard. There are some challenging holes but Crotched Mountain Golf Club is a fair and playable round that will appeal to a wide range of skill levels. The practice facility at Crotched Mountain includes a driving range and two different putting greens, including one with a sand bunker for chipping practice.

Great Greens - Poor Tee Boxes
I like playing here with my wife. It's not crowded mid-week and we aren't usually seeing other groups.
Super greens. Fairways mostly great, too.
Many of the tee boxes were pretty beat up and some had undulations or were just not level. Bring your own water.
Overall, it's good value when using a "hot deal" and is located in a beautiful mountain setting.

Good course, poor tee boxes
I try not to complain but I played on July 4th and the tee boxes were in horrendous shape. There were multiple holes where I had to hit in front of the markers. They must not have moved them in at least a few days which you’d think they’d make of point of that when people are coming from out of town on the holiday. Course was overall fun with good views.

Hot Deal well worth it.
This mountainous course has gorgeous views and several challenging holes.
The geese left their deposits on several greens which was less than desirable but overall it was pleasant plating (12;30 starting time) and there was no one in front or behind us.
For some reason no alcohol was available at the restaurant so we had an iced tea instead.

This course is worth the trip
My first time playing. What a pleasant surprise... The only thing that can beat the value are the challenging greens, course layout, pace of play and friendliness of the staff. Keep your ProV-1's at home and bring lots of golf galls. Enjoy!!!

Nice, but I will not play it again
The fairways and greens were in great condition. This is a difficult course for duffers because it has a number of holes with blind landing zones -- both uphill and downhill -- and lots of side slope (your ball may land dead center fairway but end up downhill in the rough or bush).
Fairways are narrow on many holes so you need to be dead straight. It is a beautiful area but off the beaten path. Played mid-morning mid-week so bar/restaurant wasn't open until 3.

Great course for the money!
This course is a great course for an experienced level of golfer! The crowned fairways and hilly lies make for some challenging iron/hybrid shots and some of the greens are very deceiving but the fairways are relatively wide allowing for some mis-hits off the tee. The rough is pretty thick compared to some other local courses as well. However, the cost to play here is minimal compared to other local courses and the Toll Booth Tavern is a great spot to hangout after the round and enjoy some great food and drinks. Not to mention the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming!

Great Course!!
It was a perfect Saturday in early June and most courses would be way over booked and crowded, but it was so refreshing to be able to play at a consistent relaxed pace.
The price was a great value at $60 for 18 with a cart, threw in a bucket of balls to get warmed up on the grass range. Great little chipping and putting area was perfect to get a feel for the greens.
The course feels wide but is deceptively narrow in spots. Course knowledge is definitely an advantage here. Taking less than driver to find the fairway is a good idea- some of the greens were surprisingly small but in fantastic shape.
Overall the course was challenging but fun! and definitely fair! Will absolutely be playing here again!!
Also food and drink at the pub was a great bonus!!

Great course layout
Course was in great shape. Multiple geese families on course. Scenery was impressive. Only complaint was poison ivy flourished along each fairway. If your ball strayed off the fairway… consider it lost and move on. Looking forward to our next visit.
