Best course I ever played
The head marshal, Paul Zaleski, is one fine gentleman. He was very kind to us which made a big difference when playing a new course. He checked on us throughout the round and gave us candy. This company is lucky to have such a devoted employee. Thank you for hiring great people. It does make our visit pleasant. Hi Paul, when ya’ll comin back to Callyforny
One of my Favorites!
I’m a fairly new golfer and Stonebridge was a great place to learn how to hit my driver, irons, and work on my putting because of their driving range, chipping green and large putting green! The course is always in great condition and as my game improves I’m able to par more and more holes! The day I par number 6 I will know I have arrived! The staff is great and really helpful as I learned the game...thank you Michele! The burgers are amazing and you can call in on 8 and have one waiting for you on the turn! The clubhouse is decorated well and a great place for a wedding or an event with an outdoor covered area as well!
Great course
Played in winter time, course looks great for the weather season we are in!
Greens roled great, fairways were cute fine. Overall great course.
If I had to complain about anything, only thing was the breaks on golf carts were a little sensitive, but we all adjusted to it after a couple holes.
Thank you for visiting us at Stonebridge Golf Course. We appreciate your 5-star rating and review. We hope you join us for another round soon.
Great muni
This is by far my favorite public course in Memphis for the price.
Really Nice
The course was in good shape and the greens were good and the people there were really nice. It was really worth the money and thanks to GolfNow I get to play a lot more than I ever did.
Good course with great staff
The staff at the course is very friendly. For the time of year, the course was in great condition. My only complaints: 1. it’s a bit pricey and 2. I was a single player and when I got to the course for my tee time there was no one on the first tee nor anyone on the first hole but the ranger insisted I wait until the twosome, who was also assigned the same tee time, to show up (even though they were a few minutes late), which slowed my pace of play.
Great value
Course was in nice shape and was at a reasonable price for the wife and I. We went back and played a second game.
Great course!
Me and a buddy have played this course 3 times and it is great every time. The course is challenging enough for a decent golfer but not to difficult for a beginner.
Staff is great! The last time we played the course was packed so we only got to play the front 9 but they let us rain check the back 9 for whenever we could come back.
They have a beer cart that comes around every few holes or so which is nice also.
Definitely would recommend this course!
Enjoyable
Great course. Close to where I live. Staff is always friendly and goes above and beyond to accommodate. I have played hundreds of rounds of golf here and keep coming back.
Disappointed
This used to be a really nice course, but it’s gone down hill. Excessively slow at the snack bar, tea boxes have not been mowed in sometime, bunkers have not been touched and who knows when, No course marshal, pace of play was very slow. I know it’s tough in the golf business at times, but surely this can be better.
Nice layout for the price
Played during the week. Friendly staff got us out right away. Greens were in great shape. Bunkers could use some work. No beverage cart on the course. A little noisy on #1, 2, 3, 9, 10, and 11 as there is a interstate freeway along the side of those holes. Played 18 in 4 hours. Didn't spend anytime in the clubhouse. A great price that cannot be beat.
Quality course but a little pricey! Few things to be worked on
They charge way to much for range balls, and the pace of play is always slow on weekends , other than that this is a great place to play! I would recommend it over allot of the greater Memphis area courses!
Thank you for the excellent review rating. We're glad you enjoyed your golfing experience at Stonebridge Golf Club!
good course
Course is in good shape. It hasn't rained in Memphis for 3 weeks. Fairways are getting some brown spots. Not sure if sprinklers work. Overall this is a great place to play
Stonebridge GC
Course in great shape. In this hot hot stretch of no rain, the fairways still looked good. Greens in great shape. Tee boxes were hard as a rock....needed an auger to place my tee’s. Other than that, Stonebridge is in very good shape. I miss the GPS on the carts, but that’s why I carry a range finder. Food is good also.
We're glad you found the fairways stood the test of the hot temperatures from this past Summer. We hope to see you out here again soon!
Summer in the south
I haven’t played at stonebridge in some many years, so wasn’t sure what to expect. What I found was the same fun layout that I enjoy. I also found many, if not all of the tee boxes very firm. To the point that it was difficult to get a tee in the ground. Same thing with a lot of the fairways. Firm. Almost hardpan to hit shots from. A little bit of water this time of year is important. Bunkers were in decent shape. Greens were a bit slower than I’m used to at a premium priced course. We played two days prior at sweetens cove. No issues. Day prior at ole miss club( further south and much warmer) no issues. My suggestions: water the course and let it grow a little. Not every one expects fast firm fairways that penalize players by running out. And move the cups more than once every two weeks. All the holes were in old locations that has seen a lot of traffic. Good fun course. Not worth premium price on the wknd. The pro shop and bar staff were great. Starter was nice and joking with us.
We appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the layout and the quality of our course staff.
